This ironing board cover exceeded my expectations! Compared to my old one, it feels significantly thicker, which speaks to its quality. I particularly appreciate the elastic edge, which makes installation a breeze compared to the hassle of tying on a cover. It fit perfectly without any struggle and stays securely in place. Overall, I'm delighted with this cover.

I had an old ironing board, mostly made of metal and makes that awful screeching sound when you raise or lower it, and the original cover and foam padding was coming off. I replaced it with this one and was happy that it was an elastic cover with no string to tighten and no separate foam piece that would keep moving and sliding off the board underneath the cover. This is all one piece, so that's nice. I stretched it over my metal ironing board and for the most part it fit, but with the way it was packaged, it came out a little scrunched up and wrinkly. So far it hasn't unwrinkled, which isn't a huge deal, but does provide a somewhat uneven surface to iron on. Maybe over time and with more ironing this will flatten out. But, major points are is it fits and works better than my old cover.

This ironing board cover, at first glance, looked almost exactly like the one I got it to replace. Silver color. Thin padding. Elastic edge.However, on closer examination, the padding was some kind of thin felt. And when I tried to install it on our old ironing board, I found that it's at least an inch too short to remain firmly on the board. Unless you have an under-sized ironing board, don't bother with this cover.

These ironing board covers are really getting better with time. I remember when they were backed by only a thin piece of foam that yellowed and got super thin over time with only a cotton cover. This one has a special non-stick coating over it which I feel is more heat resistant than the old style untreated cotton. The backing on this feels like thick cotton batting that doesn't collapse either. It fits over my standard size ironing board quite snugly, just what I needed! No more ugly lines in my clothing when I iron!

This cover fits my ironing board, but I thought it had straps. My last cover was also elastic edged, and it got wrinkles, but it was cotton. This one is that silver fabric that is stiffer. After ironing on it, it was quite smooth, and it didn’t shift while I was ironing. I have a padding layer under it. I think this is a keeper!

This ironing board cover does feel thicker than the old one I replaced it with. I like the elastic edge verses having to attach one with ties. It was easy to put on, not a struggle to get it to fit, and stays on well. It is a bit wrinkly on top due to being wrapped up for shipping, but after Ironing on it once, some of them already ironed out. It feels like a better-quality cover due to its thickness. I'm pleased with it.
