The quality of this set of track lights is very impressive! The housing of the lights is made of metal with a very nice, matte black finish. The lights quickly and easily plug into the H track and can easily be rotated and angled to provide lighting for artwork or tasks. I love that you can choose the setting of the lights for your specific needs. I highly recommend them!

These are excellent lights, far brighter than I expected. The shells are relatively lightweight and include a ventilation slit. Finish quality is good and I didn't see any finish flaws.The arm assembly is recessed into the shells and provides a stable connection to the h-track insert. The arm moves nicely and holds the weight of the entire track head with ease. The h-track connector works very well... there is no stickiness or wobble.The rear has ventilation holes and an LED color selector. The color modes are quite different from one another, ranging from a warm yellowish cast to a piercing white with a bluish cast. The output is significant. I was surprised at how bright they are, even on the warmest setting. A dimmer might be a good idea if you want to use these for atmosphere.Be aware that they are relatively long in profile. They are so bright that they would work for fine art and photography studios.

I've gone through several generations of LEDs; first MR16 12V replacements for track lights with transformers, then 120V GU10 base track lights, and finally these.The 12v 50W halogens had a color temp at 2800k and were gorgeouos, but ran hot, and used a lot of energy. The LED replacements at 12V were at 3000k, did not dim cleanly, and tended to wear out after about 5 years. The 120V LEDs were also at 3000k and 5 years.These are switchable at 3000k, 4000k or 5000k. I think you're nuts if you don't keep them at the 3000k warm white setting, but maybe you need that hospital cold blue 5000k look for some reason. They work great, run cool, use 1/4 of the power, and are brighter. I'm very impressed.

These were super easy to securely add to my track, and also easy to remove or move. I love the ability to change the warmth of the light to the bright white and then to the warmer color light. There are three options. It is like super white fluorescent color white and then a regular light bulb color for comparison, with one in the middle. They are just a touch tad heavier than the small ones I previously had that were also LED, but that probably means a better quality. I put 6 of them on a short track, as shown in my picture, and they did not cause the track to loosen. Lastly they are super bright and apparently dimmable. I only have a fixed light switch there. Since they are so bright, they need to be directed onto a wall or ceiling or away from where you would stand, since if they were directed down towards where you would look up, it would be too bright.
