My very first tusk nut and didn’t disappoint. It certainly helps to keep the guitar in tune.

Ich verwende ausschließlich graph tech und hatte bisher keine Probleme.Man muss natürlich genau ausmessen und dann auswählen.Da geschehen die meisten Fehler.

This and the matching bridge were used to replace the plastic pieces on my Fender dreadnought acoustic. The sound difference is unbelievable.

I bought an Epiphone AJ220s because of the reviews. When it arrived it played pretty good for a $190.00 guitar. After about a week of playing it with new Martin strings I began to notice a lack of sustain and a low end muddle.I Googled my complaint and found reviews for Tusg saddles and nuts. Make this shorter,,I replaced the nut and saddle with Tusg nut and saddle. To sum up the difference. My brother in law can not tell the difference between his Gibson J45 and my Epiphone AJ220s. (and either can I ) A little setup goes along way and Tusq clearly made the difference in carrying the sound.

Put those on a cheap hollowbody that I am upgrading. I have Graphtech on pretty much all gits, since their nuts and saddles improve sustain, resonance, and tuning stability. In fact, before replacing those cheap tuners, I would replace any cheapo plastic nut first. This solved my tuning issues with 4 of my projects/upgrades. Much cheaper than new tuners!

The nut has been great so far. Sturdy and provides great tone for my 6-string acoustic. Only down side is having to sand/shave down the nut to get the right string height (it took a LOT of sanding), but that's inevitable when doing your own repairs (parts rarely fit perfectly and without custom adjustments). For those of you replacing your guitar nut for the first time (like I did), Graphtech provides some handy instructions in the packaging; though I'd still recommend checking online for tips, trips, and additional guidance.All-in-all, a quality product that I would recommend to a friend or purchase again.

If you're going to replace the nut on your guitar by yourself, take your time! GraphTech makes it easy to replace it if you have the time and patience, otherwise, take the nut and any other parts you want to replace and take it to a good luthier.Like all the other GraphTech products, this can really change the sound of your guitar, especially acoustics. I like it! I like the company! And, try out their picks, again, especially if you play an acoustic guitar. You will notice a difference!
