Don't bother trying to fix this. It is almost impossible to get the copper pin back in place.

This kit mostly fixed my terrible kitchen faucet leak. We could barely turn it off before. I had emailed Moen to determine my faucet model, a 7560 series. They thought I would probably need to replace the cartridge, but there are two different cartridges that this model could have, the 1225 or the 1255. So I just ordered this kit to see if it would help and to get the allen wrench so that I could check which cartridge type I have. I have a 1225. I was surprised that this kit was all I needed, though. (Later update: I still had a trickle leak, and just replaced the 1225 cartridge, which fixed that.)

I used this handle hardware kit to repair my leaking Moen faucet. It worked perfectly and everything matches well. My only complain is the price -- it could be much cheaper for such non-high tech pieces.
