Why Moen doesn't include the cartridge is a mystery to me. Absolutely no reason not to. Probably why it shows as an often returned.

Our plumber only recommends Moen products. We planned on a complete renovation back to the studs allowing us to pick anything. The mixing valve and transfer valve combo allows the spa experience design by running shower head, hand shower wand & the rain head simultaneous or individually or combination of outlets. First quality and cheaper than our local plumbing supply house plus quicker availability. Bought a number of Moen items from Amazon - very pleased with all of them.

I needed a valve with a diverter attached and this one is perfect. I am having three seperate shower heads and this works great for that configuration.

Spending big dollars to remodel master bathroom and buying high flow shower head that costs more than what I made in the military in a month when I first enlisted. The PEX system features many fittings that reduce flow (e.g., elbows, couplings). Seems like PEX is good for eco design, but not if you want to get wet in the shower. I returned this (PEX) valve for the threaded connection version.
