True to size. I love using these Sam Browne buttons. Easy to use, and quiet enough for my hunting projects.Punch a small hole for the screw at the bottom, and a larger hole on the flap or tab for the ball end. Easy-peasy.

I ordered the 5mm assortment, and the package labeled them as 5mm, but they seem to me to be 4mm. They are too small for the project I wanted to use them on. But they should come in handy for other things. They seem sturdy, and screw togeather fairly easily. The posts aren't super long so you can't put them on multiple layers. They color assortment is what I expected for hardware.
