This mocha pot is made of a very light weight aluminum. The pot itself seems sturdy enough, however the espresso filter baskets and removable filter screen at the bottom of the espresso collection pot seem like they are going to be very easy to dent, bend and misshape when washing and using. The silicone ring which is located at the bottom of the collection pot, is not exactly sized to the pot filter but is a bit larger. This factor might not effect the performance and function of the pot, but still notable. I have not used this pot yet, as I procured it for my second home that I visit frequently. Once I use the pot, I will update this post if I incur any problems or negative experiences. Compared to my name brand Mocha pot, which I use frequently in my primary home, this pot seems to be constructed in an inferior way, even though they look very similar. This is the reason for the 3 stars and a reminder to me that often you get the quality you pay for.

I am using this pot with my little counter electric stove and it was so easy, with no mess, and no leaks at all. Having used this over the last few days, this pot still looks like new, even the bottom as well, still shiny, I guess the electric stove helps too :). The spout is quite easy to pout too, and the whole unit does not take much to clean either. A good and tight Silicone seal between the upper and lower pot, no leaking pressure and I didn't notice any steam coming out of the pressure valve either, maybe I wasn't paying close attention but I don't remember hearing any sound or noise except for the boiling water. This is a very nice and good quality pot, I will try to take it with me on camping next time, easy enough to pack and use.

The directions are a little confusing as they are in very broken English. I brewed two pots of plain water as instructed and the first time had little flakes in it, so I recommend doing this before you brew your first pot. I brewed mine on an open gas flame stove and it worked great on the small burner. It was surprisingly fast once I got the hang of the size flame that worked best with the pot. This was a little smaller than expected (holds 10oz) but I really don't need more than that in the mornings anyway so that's probably a good thing. I do wish it would have come with at least a couple filters because I did not have any to test it with. Overall, it is a great product and doesn't take up too much space in my already crowded kitchen.

This is awesome! It really stands out compared to other brands. I’m a big fan of its aluminum build and the tight seal it offers. The Mongdio Stovetop Espresso Maker Moka Pot is perfect for making Cuban coffee or Italian espresso, holding up to 12 cups and 20 oz in total. Plus, it looks great in silver!

This is a high grade, quality manufactured espresso maker. I can confirm it does make 12 cups of that adrenaline we all need in the morning. It is made of high grade thick aluminum. Can be used on all stove surfaces. Easy to clean (as it disassembles) and makes a nice cup to boot. Great value!

I use moka pots daily and own several of them. This is a classic style moka (aluminum, decagon 10-face cut). The filter holes are fine so you can use the finest grind espresso (some larger pots have too large of holes for fine grind). I was able to brew with 23 ounces of water (measured) without covering the pressure relief valve. The boiler (lower) chamber is heavier gauge aluminum in order to handle the pressure, while the collector (upper) chamber is slightly lighter gauge aluminum which is perfectly acceptable because it is not under pressure (it is the same gauge as a typical classic 8 ounce moka). The screw threads are slightly rough but work fine and I experience no steam or water leakage during brewing. As with all moka pots, never use the handle to screw/unscrew the two chambers or you will eventually break off the handle. The aluminum filter is typical classic lightweight aluminum, so treat with care because banging it hard could eventually dent it.This moka brews in the normal amount of time as other larger pots. There was a small amount of water (about 1 teaspoon) left in the lower chamber after brewing which is typical of larger mokas.I think this moka is a good value at $29.99. I am happy that I ordered it. I will update this review if I experience any problems with it. As long as I treat it properly, I anticipate that this pot will last for years if not decades for the reasons I provided above.

We enjoyed our espresso from this moka pot this morning! Works and functions just as a moka pot should, though the product photos are a bit deceiving as the finish is a little more rough than smooth and shiny. That is to be expected with moka pots and shouldn’t affect someone’s purchase.

The quality is also very reliable and with proper use and care, it feels like it will last a long time. The material of the pot is very sturdy and well made, there are no flaws, you can tell the quality is very secure, it's really good value for money!
