So far so good. I used blue Loctite on the screws. 20$ vs 150$ and I can't tell the difference. I will be buying more monstrum products.

Seems well enough for what it is but beware that it is not tall enough to clear the objective bell on my 2.5-10x44 scope. You can see I ran out of space with the Scalarworks LEAP mount. Just a couple more millimeters in height and it would work.

Pictures are both ring tops for Monstrums RDS ring mounts and their respective screws beneath. Second image depicts the difference between the 2 screws supplied.Have had their picatinny top sitting as it was too tall. Tried its supplied screw and it threaded perfectly. Bottomed it out on lower ring half and torqued it, no stripping.Being that I can't use the picatinny ring mount will salvage the screws and shorten.Monstrum,Include the screws from your picatinny ring mount and this mount will be golden. Required torque can be used. Per hardware store, correct screw should be M4x0.7.

Mount works as expected, clamping securely to a 30mm scope tube. Be wary of the distance you need to mount this (ie the entire red dot length) - there are two versions that Monstrum makes, this one is the fixed (machined) forward-set version. The other is a mid attachment by screw version. Design wise, they should have reversed it and milled the center mount in place, and on this version gave you a screw in option where the attachment was under the rear (as is now) but also under the front lugs. Be aware this may not clear a scope ring height if positioned behind it (ie the Aero Precision cantilever mount comes to a peak at the 12:00 section of the ring, so it's tool tall, but anywhere else on the ring it's low enough). The first scope I tried this on was an OPMOD Primary Arms 4-14x. It had a built in illumination knob between the ocular adjustment and turrets, meaning the only location this could attach is between the turret and the bell farthest forward on the scope. This created an issue as the slope of the bell hit the bottom of the mount, since it needs an entire RMR optic length between the scope ring and anything else. In order to get this to sit right, I had to adjust the scope mount location in the rings and ensure my eye relief was still good with the entire optic pushed forward. In the end this was a losing battle with that scope as the elevation knob was also too tall so it blocked the red dot window. The second scope I tried this on was a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x, and this had better options with location, however because I was using a cantilever mount (one attachment for two rings) this also required a juggle of eye relief, set ring spacing, and RMR-length opening for the mount. Using the smaller cap cover (the one without the battery) I could see over the elevation turret at a 12:00 position. When it was all said and done I questioned the functionality of the mount. My needs were to include a 1x optic with a larger magnification scope range (1x + 4-14x) but despite a limited placement location, it was still met with turret visibility issues. I considered mounting it at a 45 angle to see between them, but that was harder to zero and made for a weird offset of height over bore-to the left. So not only do you have to account for elevation, but windage. If you didn't have an illumination section on the scope body like I did, it could be used behind the optic with the turret providing the "occluded shooting" function. On a lower powered scope (1-6x) the turrets are lower so a centered mount makes sense, however a 1-6x still has a 1x through the scope, so you are opting for a larger height over bore in lieu of not moving the magnification. In addition, unless you have an adjustable cheek riser, you lose that point of contact when looking through the optic.I ended up sending it back as it didn't serve the purpose for what I bought it for, however if you prefer the use of a 1x for situational aiming when your LPVO is maxed, this should work for you.
