  • Input: 1/4"audio jack.
  • Stereo or Mono (impedance 2.2M)
  • Output: 1/4"audio jack.
  • Stereo or mono 1/8" audio jack stereo (impedance 24Ω)

MOOER Audiofile Pedal Headphones Amplifier

Purity, warmth, dynamics and retention of tone are the name of the game with Audiofile

  • When playing live the AUDIOFILE can be completely bypassed or used as an excellent “always-on” signal buffer/booster with the cab sim turned off.
  • Get rid of the constraints of the speakers, volume, plug in the headphones, let the real sound of the effects into their own world; whether it's daytime, late at night, or on the road, tour, just put on the headphones, you can simulate the real use of effects during the performance, Audiofile can do!
  • Optional built in analog speaker cabinet simulation
  • Doubles up as a signal boost/buffer when not being used for headphone amplification
  • True bypass means AUDIOFILE can become a permanent resident on your pedalboard even when not in use

Audiofile

Support mono and stereo effects input, provide two choices of stereo output and mono mix output.

Audiofile

Doubles up as a signal boost/buffer when not being used for headphone amplification

Audiofile

Each channel adjustable gain of 6dB to ensure that the full range without distortion to achieve greater thrust to push the headphones.

  • It is worth mentioning that when users put Audiofile in the last place of the effects board, through Audiofile and then connected to the speaker, Audiofile will act as a Clean Boost gain effects with good dynamics, clarity, no sound coloring, while Audiofile will play the function of Buffer to reduce the loss of guitar signal after connecting a number of effects.
  • Connect your headphones and activate the analog cab sim for totally immersive practice sessions

Wasn't totally sure how the Audiofile pedal would work out but it's actually great. The primary function I was looking for is the headphone line out, just for silent guitar practice. And yes, some other pedals, have headphone outs, but having it in a separate pedal which can always live at the very end of the signal chain is huge. For example, if you have a looper, you would want it after any drive or effects, so a headphone jack on the drive would be too early and wouldn't capture anything from the looper. Furthermore, the cab sim toggle works really well. It's actually crazy how much better of a sound you get when you hit the cab sim. Without it, the signal is sort of tinny and abrasive but cleans up really well with the cab sim on. Finally, just having the master volume control helps a ton. A lot of times you don't want to fiddle with all the effects, you just want to turn the volume up or down. One final thing I didn't see in the documentation but is really helpful is, you can have the headphones connected at the same time as an amp connected. Not that you would use both at the same time, but you can leave the cables in place and then just turn the amp on or off when you want. Great product.

Works Great! Fast shipping!Edit: after only maybe a couple months of use, there is suddenly a high pitch buzz when the cab sim switch is on.Also: the sticker on the back of the pedal states that if removed warranty is void, but the adhesive on the sticker does not stick well to the rubber on the back of the pedal. So my sticker was easily removed when removing a strip of velcro off the back of the pedal. This happened because the adhesive on the velcro wasn’t sticking to the rubber back either, so I ended up peeling off the rubber back and stuck the velcro directly to the back of the pedal, and now it sticks to my pedal board no problem, but apparently my warranty is now void.

Bought this for an easy application: headphone amp for my guitar stereo pedal rig. Hooked it up as in the second illustration under "How To Use" in the manual. Only the left channel can be heard. Mono works and mixes the channels correctly, but I don't want mono, I want stereo. Not recommended. Awful product. Stay away from Moorer, it's cheap for a reason.

It took longer than I thought to find a pedalboard stereo headphone preamp, but this little guy does the trick. I was impressed with the sound quality, especially at such an affordable price. I use several stereo effects at the end of my signal chain and I find myself using this more than my practice amp because I get to maintain the stereo path rather than reduce it back to mono for my amp. It also allows me to practice late without waking up the whole house. Excellent addition to any board.

This is a great little portable, plug and play headphone amp. It takes up almost no room on my pedal board. So, I don't feel bad leaving it there all the time. I can practice anywhere and anytime I want, without bugging anyone else in the house. The tone is actually pretty good and I like that I can run both my electric or my bass through it. The cab simulator isn't a great feature and I don't really use it. The housing is solid and the controls are simple. Also works well as a boost if you're running it through and amp or system for that extra punch.

It’s a handle little device when your amp does not have a headphones out connection like my Orange Rocker 32.However, it introduces a lot of noise and hum and the sound quality is not that great.I’m undecided if I will return it yet.

Love this thing.Slap it on my pedal board. Won’t wake up the others in my house when I get the urge to play at 4am.I plan to use it for travel also.Surprised at sound quality cause all the small amps I tried sound horrible. This actually doesn’t sound bad at all.

Doesn't sound or feel as good as an amp cranked, but I can practice electric guitar while my girlfriend is sleeping now! This device works in stereo if you get the right cords.

I have this mini-pedal after the Sansamp (Tech 21 NYC) at the end of a small pedalboard (bass-tuner-chorus-fuzz-sansamp-Audiofile), and it works perfectly with no noise. It simplified my setup for both practice (with or without amp) and performance. It would be great to have an aux in as well, and those are available in higher price ranges, but otherwise it works perfectly for me so far. I am not a fan of all Mooer pedals (the Thunderball fuzz/distortion mini-pedal also on this pedalboard is so-so) but this one I like.

Fa ciò che deve fare, con delle cuffie decenti (akg271) e un preamp si sente benissimo e non rompo le scatole a nessuno sfruttando overdrive, wha wha, delay, etc etc. Per me che non devo registrare è perfetto.
