These are wooden kids’ egg shakers with markers. They are decently made, especially considering they will be colored with markers, minimizing any disparity in the colors. They make a pleasant, not too loud rattling sound and the markers color on them fine. These will be fun for kids to color and play with—maybe a little pricey for what they are, but overall fun for the kiddos to design and play with their own shaker.

these were fun to do. The paint pens that came with it were much better than i thought they would be. These wooden egg shakers aren't anything super exciting. The kids did have fun decorating them.

These wooden eggs are listed as “musical instruments”, but that’s certainly not the case. There’s indeed something inside of them so they make a little bit of noise, kind of like a baby’s rattle.If you look closely to the listing pictures. . . You’ll see there’s a line across the top. That’s because the top was cut-off and the egg hollowed-out to place whatever is inside to make the rattle. But not all of the tops were matched with the same bottom. . . So. . . the tops are lighter / darker than the bottoms. As you’re probably going to paint the entire egg. . . It’s not as big of a deal.There are only twelve small markers with the 12-egg set. This will not be enough to color all of the eggs, so you’ll need to provide additional materials on-your-own. You could also add things like glitter. . .sequins. . .and so on.I wish there was a way to hang these eggs, but there’s not, unless you add a hook / ribbon on-your-own.This wooden egg craft kit is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of 17 bucks. . . It’s around twice the price it should be.

This set of one dozen wooden eggs shakers are very nice. The set includes acrylic paint markers that can be used to decorate the eggs. The shakers are smoothly sanded and feel good to hold. They sound nice too. There is a seam at the top of each egg shaker as the eggs were filled with material to make the shaking sound and then capped with a wooden top. The acrylic markers are brightly colored and work well. Please see my photos.
