Paid $109 for this catch can in 2024.Easy install. Good craftsmanship. I know it works great because I dump oil out every oil change.

Installed on 2004 Tahoe. Clear instructions were included. I would deem it a very necessary add-on to better assist the PCV situation with these SUVs as their intake manifolds get coated internally with oil over time. This helps keep oil out of there and it also has a nice drop out valve to drain the collected waste oil for disposal. I would drain it out after every oil change. The stuff that would come out of there would be so nasty. It’s a good thing to have for your engine’s longevity!

I installed this on a 3rd gen 4runner - Even though it is a GM truck option they are all the same AOS it's just the bracket that's different. I was able to snag this on sale for $150 which was totally worth it. Collects oil as advertised and the brushed aluminum look is appealing under the hood. Used this GM bracket model to bolt up to the screw that holds the Diagnostic port onto the intake manifold. Fits perfect!

Product is well made, not difficult to install even though instructions were ‘as basic’ as you could make them and NOT applicable to my 2017 Chevy 1500 4x4 with a 6.2. Like the fact - the draining of can is very easily done through built in, included, valve. The 3rd picture is the ‘surge’ I drained first time after 3 months of installation. For price should include braided hoses.

2017 gmc sierra 1500 elevationProduct was super easy to install, provided hose was the right length cut in half ish. I took off my stock pcv hose heated up the ends under hot water and cut off the stock hose. Both ends fittings are the same so don't worry about that. Put both ends on with hose clamps connected one and ran it to the separator and cut to length. Then ran the other hose and cut it to length. I mounted the can to the bolt at the washer fluid and Teflon taped every screw in part. I used my Wrench to adjust the Angle for the spout for draining. 30min installed easy. Now just need to drive and clean it out. Already my engine feels less hesitant like no extra fluid is trying to pass through. Plus this thing looks super awesome

I did a lot of research and picked a good brand name that I could afford. I kind of expected to receive what I got after I had read all the negative reviews , sure enough it looked just like 90% of the 'one' star reviews I read. I knew that it would not be a problem sending it back because Amazon is good about that, but I thought I would take a shot at buffing out the top and see what it looked like. It was truly a cosmetic issue and I am pleased with the results. I will continue the install and do not expect any issues but I will review the product after the install and let you know. Should be a '5' star rating because of the reputation of Moroso, but quality control lets these go to Amazon at a lower price and I'm for saving a buck or two.

Nicely made kit, but the mounting bracket is quite long. When used in custom applications I trim it down considerably. Overall much better quality than most of the knock-offs.

Installed this on my 2016 silverado, install was simple took maybe 45 mins. Checked to see how much crap it caught after two weeks and about 1/4 cup came out. Very happy with product only downside is trying to find another gasket for it, will have to call the company in order to get one

Love the design. Moroso's instructions recommend mounting it off the alternator bracket which places it lower and obscures the positive battery bus. I attached it from the inside booster stud with another m14 locknut; works perfectly & looks amazing up high. I went from AN-10 90 from pcv grommet to 3/8 hose barb, split it after the seperator with a tee and a check valve to keep everything working in boost from Torqstorm S/C. I ran that 'T' back to the inlet tube after the K&N filtercharger before the supercharger inlet to keep the removing oil vapors from engine to the top of the during intake idle/vacuum(like it did with the stock pcv system) but under boost the flow stops at the manifold so the oil vapor then goes to the intake tube. I ran the passenger side valve cover into a "T' that goes into the intake as well so it can breath from the filtered intake in vacuum and blow back to the intake on boost. No oil smell on my Supercharged 2001 Tahoe! Sounds convoluted but works amazing...

When I pulled the stock intake manifold off my truck it was layered with an oil film on the inside. Bought this to ensure my FAST LSX-RT intake doesn't end up the same way. So far so good! Love the easy drain option. I added a hose that runs down to the frame and just catch the oil in a drain pan.

Overall works well but the instructions don’t cover 14-18 trucks.Install is very easy. I mounted mine on the bolt with the windshield washer fluid reservoir as seen in the picture. For the pcv line, disconnect under the throttle body and the manifold. Use a box cutter to cut the hard pipe and reuse the factory slip fittings with the supplied hose. I included a picture for reference.Install took a total of 30 minutes and most of it was just trying to figure out where I wanted to mount it. Quality piece and reputable brand.

I was searching for a while for an air oil separator until I finally stumbled upon this product. Like most people nowadays I have fly-by-wire or in other words an electronic throttle body. The oil from my PCV system kept getting my throttle body dirty and making my gas mileage/idle worse. Since I did not enjoy taking off and cleaning my throttle body every 6 months I decided to look for an air/oil separator. I did notice that there are a lot of cheap aftermarket air/oil separators, especially on Ebay. I had purchased one of the cheaper types originally and let me tell you this Moroso unit is leaps and bounds better. The machining was spot on as well as the finish. There was also an o-ring for the threaded connection. One thing that also makes the Moroso unit stand out is that it has baffling and the steel mesh inside to help catch more oil as the air passes by. Another nice thing is that everything is there for install making it way easier and the on/off drain valve makes it a lot easier to drain. One thing to mention is to make sure to use good Teflon tape on all fittings since you will be connecting an engine vacuum line to this. I had also originally mounted this to the engine but the unit vibrated a lot because of engine vibrations transferring through the bracket, so I ended up attaching it to the radiator support. I also cut a piece of hose that attached to a bottle to connect to the drain to make draining the unit easier at oil changes.

Installed this on my 2011 Silverado 2500HD 6.0. The instructions are straight forward, granted you do a little reading. The pictures are copies of pictures. The bolt supplied to mount the Separator to the alternator bracket is too small, most people, myself included had an extra bolt lying around that worked. This could be an issue for some.Mounting location is at your discretion as well. It does indeed mount to the alternator bracket but some adjustment may be needed due to the location of the power steering fill neck.Take your time at this point see what will work best for you. Consider where the drain outlet is located, how easy is it to get to, things like that. You'll read varying opinions on the practicality of this catch can. No one argues that is eliminates oil/moisture from re-entering the intake. Some just feel that the factory design is sufficient. All I can say is after having this installed for 1000 miles, I drained approximately 1 oz of fluid. That was good enough for me.I would buy this again.
