Makes my laptop look new. The keys pop! I had a opaque/semi-clear version before, and it worked well, but made the keys appear dull. This version has the keys painted, so it makes all the keys look new. Glad they had it for the older Mac's like mine, a 2013. dPrice was great also. Very happy with purchase.

Used this for my MacBook keyboard. This is the second one I have had to buy. First one lasted me years! Finally wore it down enough to need a new one! Fits keyboard well and keeps my keys clean! Love that it comes in my favorite color! Very durable, like I said, had the first one for more than five years!

Our previous one, after 10 years, shredded and this was the only one for this version of the mac keyboard. It's a lifesaver because the letters on the keyboard are very light and fine--and for my husband, invisible. This allows him to use the keyboard comfortably. It also saved us from having to buy a new keyboard (and cover)! Very happy

I have a love/hate relationship with the Mosiso key pad protector. It works great, keeps out dust, crumbs, spills. However, the silicon only last for about six months. Soon the letters rub off, it rips, buckles and does not stick to the keyboard at all. But since there is really nothing else out there, it's this or nothing.

Keeps the dust out of my keyboard! Sometimes I even leave it on my laptop and type with it and it's fine. Just beware that if you do that, the labels wear on regularly used keys.

We bought this for my son's computer. A MacBook Pro 13 without Retina display (as stated in the description). We didn't try it out right on arrival since it was for my son who was out of the country and couldn't return (due to the virus). Now that he is back, we found out that the keyboard does not fit 100%. If you try to align the letter keys, the top row (F keys) will not line up, also the bottom row is getting kind of funky. Also, the arrow keys don't match ins size at all. The MacBook has two regular sized arrow keys, going right and left, and two half-size keys going up and down. The silicone keyboard's arrow keys are all half key sizes and don't match. Can you type with it? I guess you can, it is a bit awkward since it feels there is air trapped between the keys and the silicone keypad. It feels bouncy and a bit sticky. Once more thing, since the silicone keyboard doesn't fit 100%, you can't close the MacBook correctly. You have to remove the silicone keyboard to do so, which in my view is a big hassle. So, now we have a keyboard protection, that feels funny to the touch while typing, doesn't match the keys, and that we have to remove when closing the computer. Not what we wanted, really. So, I should have sent this back. However, my son was out of the country and couldn't return until just now due to the virus, so we didn't even open it and try it out in time to do so. Unfortunate.

I work my 2013 MacBook pretty hard and it gets hot. Because of the heat, these covers stretch out over time. They're still usable, but they end up being too large and get "waves" in them. So I just replace one every six months or so. They're affordable enough to do so.I recently ordered a Mosiso keyboard cover that's fully transparent because I wanted to see the backlit Mac keys. That one didn't feel nearly as good as this one. The clear one is too slippery and not as soft. It's also stiffer. This product is soft to the touch and just a bit grippy. I love it.The only downsides are the stretching and the inability to use the backlight. In terms of feel, I actually prefer this product to the bare MacBook keyboard. That's really why I use it - not so much for protection, but it's nice to have that as well.

I wish I had seen my own headline before I'd purchased this for my daughter! This layout is designed for a US keyboard. Unfortunately, the cost of returning it for a refund was £5.55 (more than the value of the product!) so I've had to just accept that my daughter sent me the wrong link and take a hit. I've since purchased the correct one for a UK keyboard that you have to buy with a cover, so more expensive. As far as the quality of the cover goes, I can still comment as I already have the same brand myself on a different model. It's very slim and sits really easily on the keys. I'm a fast touch typist and though it does mean I have to hit the keys a little harder than without the cover, this is preferable to taking my MacBook Pro back to the Apple store to have a completely new keyboard fitted because of debris beneath damaging the components. Without cover that would have cost me around £1000. So, to me it is worth pressing a little harder on the keys! These covers come in really subtle colours and have a pleasant matt feel. It can be whipped off instantly for cleaning and grips straight back on to the keys without fuss. Importantly, it doesn't leave marks on the screen after being closed. Despite my mis-order I would highly recommend to those with a US keyboard!

I got this a couple of months ago, and I love this keyboard cover. It has a nice feeling, is very flexible, and when I put it on my Macbook Air, it fit like a glove. It doesn't come off even when I'm moving my laptop around a lot (which I do, I do a lot of work on the sofa or the bed where I end up in weird positions to be comfortable) and it's also very comfortable to write on. I know a lot of people don't like typing with keyboard covers, mostly because it hinders the feeling of the keys, but I don't think so. I can feel each key individually when I hit them, which is really nice. I also type a lot due to work and school, as well as simply writing in my free time, and this cover has held up the entire time. I haven't seen any signs of wear or even fading. It's still the same color as it was when I first got it, no fading. So far that's been around six months. As for the backlight, I don't really use the backlight on my Mac that much, so it didn't make that much of a difference to me. Even with the light on, the shift in lettering was minimal and didn't really bother me. This is a very durable keyboard - I eat with my laptop all the time, and I've actually spilled coffee on my keyboard once, and nothing happened - it actually kind of kept the liquid there until I could clean it off. Would recommend, and I would definitely buy from here again if I needed another color.

I killed my first Mac by spilling coffee on the keyboard, so I was in the market for keyboard protection. When I saw that retailers were asking 20 to 30 dollars for a keyboard skin, I immediately looked to amazon. I was a bit skeptical that this skin fit both pro and air models of all sizes but I decided to give it a try. I love it so far! The color is a bit darker than the picture (hot blue), but it's still a lovely color. It fits the keys very well, though typing on it is just something you have to get used to as far as the feel of the silicone goes. The edges around the keyboard are smooth and not bubbling up so I feel secure that it will keep debris and liquid in small amounts out. It also doesn't inhibit the closing of the computer or leave any key shaped smudges on the screen as I've seen with other products like this. It got here on time and was in its own decent protective packaging. Also, it looks amazing on my Macbook Pro 13 inch non-retina!The only downside is that the key letters are not exactly lining up with the letters beneath it, which creates a weird 3D effect with the letters at night. I don't necessarily type in the dark though or use the backlight feature much anyways, so it doesn't affect me or my view of the product.I definitely recommend this for the on the go college student who needs a cheap, but well made keyboard skin.
