This is junk. Not just this particular brand or anything. This cover is just not replaceable. It has to be glued in place and it's under spring pressure.... There's no good way to hold it in place long enough for adhesive to cure.Waste of time.Bought the whole valve cover for not a whole lot more than I paid for this.

Q: Is it possible to just replace the diaphragm?A: Maybe. SometimesQ: Is it easier, or definitely going to work?A: absolutely notFirst off, removing that diaphragm using a heat gun takes a lot of time and effort—it’s not easy at all…. I replaced that only to realize the seal wasn’t good and it leaked more than the ruptured diaphragm I was trying to replace. Save yourself time and aggravation —Just replace the Valve cover. It’s a few screws and a gasket, and you’ll be set for another few years at the least. If you plan on keeping the vehicle even longer, add the aftermarket check valve from Cruzekits.com. That kit solves the underlying reason why the diaphragm fails in the first place.

So I’ve passed the window for a return and here it is January 2024 and I’m just able to start working on my car. To my surprise I open the box rip open the package only to find that the valve membrane is cracked with a hole in it. I will say that the material is a good quality a nice thick like rubber sort of stiff. I don’t think I’m going to be able to use this unfortunately but thought I should warn others not to wait too long to inspect the part. Hope this helps .

There is no way to hold it down (silicone, gasket maker, etc) that aligns with the design. After you put it on, it's not coming off, which led to my having to replace the whole plastic top piece also..

Old one had a big hole, vacuum leak, cheaper than changing the whole valve cover, heat gun and epoxy needed. Both fuel trims were pegged at 35% before. Chevy cruze be careful of small coolant hose, brittle plastic, scald warning. Update, the glue doesn't stick for long from the heat I assume.
