We had to make some minor adjustments to the new parts depending where the truck was made. It is also good to have someone that has the tools to weld it to the frame, after installing them I would recommend paint everything to protect them from rust. It is important to make sure that you have very little gas in the tank as you have to drop it down to do the welding. While you have it down replace the fuel filter and take your time oh yes the frame needs to be sanded down where the weld will be done.

Tight, perfect fit for my 2004 ford F-150 no weld. Epoxy and bolt installation just like new without removing the fuel tank.

I havent installed them yet but I can’t wait to fix my truck. The price for these as a pair is cheaper than anywhere I could find for just 1.
