Product Description

Mplus Engine Cooling Fan Clutches control the speed of the radiator fan based on the temperature of the air after it passes through the radiator fins, and can quickly adjust to temperature changes to provide efficiency and control while providing optimal cooling performance without sacrificing engine efficiency.
Car Application:
- 07-09 for Freightliner Sprinter 3500 3.0L 2987CC V6 DIESEL DOHC Turbocharged
- 07-09 for Freightliner Sprinter 2500 3.0L 2987CC V6 DIESEL DOHC Turbocharged
- 07-09 for Dodge Sprinter 3500 3.0L 2987CC V6 DIESEL DOHC Turbocharged

How Engine Cooling Fan Clutch Works
Silicone oil fan clutch uses silicone oil as a medium to transmit torque by utilizing the high viscosity of silicone oil. Using the temperature of the air behind the radiator, the disengagement and engagement of the fan clutch is automatically controlled by a temperature sensor. When the temperature is low, the silicone oil does not flow, the fan clutch is disengaged, the fan speed slows down, and it is basically in an idling state. When the temperature is high, the concentration of the silicone oil makes the fan clutch engage, so the fan and the water pump shaft rotate together to adjust the engine temperature.
How to Tell If Your Fan Clutch Is Going Bad?
The engine is overheating.
The fan is loose.
Excessively loud cooling fans.
Difficulty accelerating, reduced fuel efficiency
How to check the Engine Cooling Fan Clutch
Most fan clutches should spin with a little effort, Gently turn the fan, if it turns very easily (idling 2-3 turns), then there may be a problem with the fan clutch, if the fan does not move, then there may be a problem with the fan bearing
Move the fan forward and backward, if the swing is too large or there is abnormal noise, the fan is broken
Check the silicone oil of the fan, if there is a leak, the fan is broken
When the fan clutch is engaged, an air flow is generated with a distinct sound. As the engine temperature rises, the hot fan clutch will engage at a certain temperature, while the torque limiting fan clutch will disengage at a certain engine speed
