How to Adjust the Angel
Step 1
Unscrew the back side where it says Max 15
Step 2
Take out the black button.
Step 3
Unscrew the left and right screws use a wrench.
NOTE
You need to unscrew the back side where it says Max 15 when you adjust the angles

The two nuts on either side of the product that would appear to adjust the angle, don’t. There is a screw underneath the unit that is actually used to set the angle. I would avoid this product or any product where they won’t take the time to include some directions, or at least a link to some.

This is the perfect extender to allow you to sit more upright. Can also be adjusted to bring the bar closer to you. Very easy install!

The nut that you tighten is only accessible when the stem is folded. So you have to install it in the folded position, tighten, then adjust the angle. I only learned through many trial and error taking it on an off too many times. Make sure you align it pointing forward before tightening down as well. Once assembled, it offers a comfy ride to keep you from being so bent over.

First off: the versatility is what sets this stem apart from others. My new gravel bike handlebars were too low and killed my lower back. Unfortunately, bike companies sell forks that are precut too short for some.This stem seems beefy and solid but very heavy. To be fair, non-adjustable stems are much lighter due to less materials.My plan is to experiment using cheap adjustable stems until I find the optimal length and angle. This stem fit the bill.

This stem solved my posture problem, raising my bars and decreasing my need to lean towards the bars.I use it in my mountain bike and it's been holding well.
