Defective part. I normally buy oem but I'm in a li.ch and had to get the par asap to fix my wife's car. Got this product installed and leaks from both fittings. The pipe flare is defective and I had to clean the rough flare ends to temporarily get it to stop leaking and actullu work until my oem part I just orderd comes in. Don't buy get oem and buy extra for emergencies.

As another reviewer has noted about this kit, the two unions that are included are for SAE double flares (you can see that even from the pictures in the listing). They are not compatible with the ISO bubble flares on these lines. I don't know why the seller even bothers to include the unions in this kit. They are useless unless you have other brake lines with SAE double flares.

Arrived quickly, product as described. Steel lines with SAE bubble flare and correct end fittings per Amazon pictures. Fittings are std. 3/8"-24 threads inverted flare fittings. The lines have SAE Bubble flare, suitable for bubble type union to brake hose and certain calipers/master cylinders. **The unions are std 3/8" - 24 threads. Inverted flare. **So.... these lines will not join together with the unions supplied, without leaks UNLESS you second stage the bubble to an inverted flare end.If you don't understand then you should not be replacing brake lines !As supplied the lines are decent quality and would work for ISO bubble flare type Unions as is.Steel lines are silver and magnetic with no tooling marks, ftgs are steel with gold colored zinc plate.Unions are good quality, brass , non magnetic, full threads , no tooling or concentricity issues.Purchased aug24 2024

Does exactly what I bought it for, which is extending the factory brake lines on a 2007 crown Vic for a hot rod truck project. Stretched the frame/wheelbase 14” and this accomplished the brake like portion of the project.

These were easy to work with, and were the right size for my car 85' Cadillac Deville. I used them on on both rear drum lines (replaced original broken ones). I used the original lines as a template "jig", to get the bends right.I hope they last, and "don't" rust out on me (danger, no break fluid), we shall see.

Work, no leaks, and cheap. Not sure why only 2 couplers for 3 lines, but oh well.

These are well made lines and I like the coating on them, but my brake system doesn't use the double flair, but I'm keeping them anyway for another car that might need them some time.
