Leo Fender really got things right form the very beginning, both the Telecaster & Stratocaster retain the essential design elements they began with with just a few tweaks over the years. One small but critical piece is the knob for the selector switch. Yes, you can survive without it but that sharp metal can cause real damage to your picking hand. The cream colour looks great and can seamlessly blend with a vintage guitar to keep a cohesive vibe. Always good to keep a few on hand.

Perfect fit, and a good value to repair a Squier mini-Fender style strat. Two are included and a branded complimentary pick is also included.

This was an effective replacement for the missing switch tip for my mid-90s Epiphone Strat copy, which was missing its tip. Since this is an older guitar, it is a bit whiter than the knobs and the pickguard, but since I have replaced other things, like the tremolo arm, and different plastics age differently, there are already a variety of shades on this guitar, and it doesn't look weird to me. The package came with two tips, as well as a branded pick, which was a nice extra. This was a solid replacement part for when you need it.

This is a review for a package of two switch tips for pick up selector. Fender in its various issues and various copies use similar but not identical designs of switch tips and sometimes it is difficult to find the right one. These are small, or a bit smaller size tips. I have the same size on my made in Mexico strat and some copies. Good feature of these tips is that they have two slots in form of a cross that are of different sizes and therefore fit on most switch selectors. That is very nice feature. All of the switch selectors I have seen so far have either a single blade slot or, if it is a cross, both slots are of equal lengths. The photograph in the description appears to show the cross with two equal lengths. That is not accurate. The scheme that gives dimensions is accurate.

I am a guitar maker and have lots of spare parts in stock so I got the chance to try this knob from Musiclily on a real USA made CRL three position switch as well as on my Chinese made Squier Strat. The slots are cleverly arranged so that it fit on both of them. This is very unusual in my previous experience. I have had lots of knobs in the past that I had to tighten using electrical teflon tape.So - this Strat type knob from Musiclily is very very nice. The color is a rich cream color which looks pretty historically authentic to me and much nicer than the crappy white OEM knob on my Squier. When I fitted it to both the USA and the Chinese switch the fit was a tight snug. Confident that it won't fall off but I didn't have to fight to force it on - it was just right. When I looked very microscopically with lots of magnification I could see some fine molding lines in the plastic and a tiny sprue point at the base. But naked eye it looks perfect.I am very pleased with the improvement to my Squier Strat and also have a spare for the future.Excellent Strat knob!

I put this on an early-2000s Squier Bullet Strat that I had modified, and though this would be a matching switch cap for the new pickguard, I also lost the cap long ago, so it was a welcome fix. In the hand, the plastic feels light and cheap, but compared to the stock cap on my MIM Fender Strat, once it's on the switch, the two don't feel noticeably different. This cap slid on the selector switch without any fuss or stress, but the fit is snug enough that there's no looseness or worry about it sliding off.
