I use these for a handful of shrimpy or clouser like flies and they hold up well. Classic. Cheers and tight lines

The hooks are 3/O in size but very soft and not suitable for use. I landed a 4 kg golden snapper and in the process of removing the hooks, the hooks got out of shape. It can be bent with a plier. 😡.Suggest that Amazon include the country of origin in its products descriptions.

The Mustad I buy in store are strong. These seem to bend easier.

I tied a bunch of bunny leech patterns on these. They aren’t the best hooks, or the sharpest, but they worked as well on 8-10 pound silvers as much better quality hooks. Carry a file to sharpen them.

I buy these once a year for using gulp swimming mullet on a carolina rig for flounder. They work perfectly every time and are the best size for this set up.

I ordered these to tie big streamer flies on and they have the weight and strength to be perfect for that application.

I've been using these hooks in saltwater for well over 20 yrs.Caught more trout, redfish, bluefish, sailcats~ ~ even large rays then I can remember.Never a problem. Just remember to check leaders for wear and tear, and remember, to change out when dull from use.. ~ or sharpen. I mostly use size 6, 4, 1. 2, and sometimes 1/0,I cannot remember EVER losing a fish because of these bending. Busted/ bitten off leader, but I never brought in a bent hook. Maybe the point was dulled or rolled a bit from snags on oysters etc. When ya need a STRONG hook~ ~ these are the ones! MUSTAD

I was recommended to try these hooks by a man who makes his own fishing lures and flies and other fishing related lures. I was sceptical at first, but once i started catching the fish with it then it proved its point. My hook set ration increased due to such a quality sharp hook and the strength is amazing at times a little too strong. I got hung up on sum rocks and instead of it breaking off I instead lifted the rock right off the ocean floor. The great thing about these hooks is that they don't ware out as fast as other hooks i used to use. They keep sharp and they resist rusting very well even if it was used in salt water applications. I just rinse out all my lures that i used that day and air dry it, this increases the longevity of these hooks. I love these hooks!!!

Hard to beat for the price. Easy for rigging ballyhoo and great for hooking fish.As soon as the point gets dull, throw them way.Never seen a blue marlin bend one.
