Just need my horse to stop flipping his reigns over his head while on trail and this stops that...pretty ugly but adjustable, functional, and affordable. 4 star because its just a rope tied to hardware. Could be a 5 if ok with paying for that.

This was suggested to me by a good friend of mine. Before using this my mare would be a challenge to ride. Especially if I wanted to go one way and she didn't. My arms would get tired super fast just trying to turn her head. I used this for the first time today and it was a totally different experience. She did try and pull her stunts but stopped quickly and it was much more enjoyable.

I shouldn’t be surprised but I am. It’s literally a white rope. Should have read the reviews. Not returning because it was $11 and also it could still work for schooling. But I should have realized $11 doesn’t get you a leather running martingale.

This is a very functional, economical martingale. Easy to adjust, very light but effective. Just what I needed.

I really like that I can put this martingale around my horse's neck. That way I can attach it when I'm tacking up instead of just before I mount. It's just more convenient than the martingale without the neck loop.
