Stirrup straps slip out of "saddle" buckles, then the passenger has no stirrup support. They dont get very long either. A child that fits the length of the straps might be to small to be behind.

I am so glad I bought this Ride with Me Seat so I can enjoy riding with my grandson. This is very easy to use and securely attaches to my saddle. Happy trails.
