I use this on a horse with a very heavy, long tail who is on pasture 24/7. It has stayed in without slipping, stands up to tail swishing and inclement weather. Breathable fabric dries quickly. No tears, rips or weak spots.

These tail bags are a little loud because of the material, but other than that, they are very durable and stay on great. For the price it’s a great tail bag.

My mare has a THICK tail that stays in a braid and needs a waterproof style bag. She has been wearing this one for a few months and it’s still in good condition. I like the ease of the Velcro closure

Great tail bag- it stays on even though my horse loves to smack it against himself to make the loudest noise he can. The other horses at first were spooked when he did that but everyone is used to it now. Great buy

This towel bag worked good and kept my horses braided tail clean… But I would’ve liked some weight at the bottom to help it swish flies a little bit better

The good: It’s heavy duty and it stays in.The bad: It’s LOUD. I have a bombproof horse and it scared her for the first few days. If we are riding with another horse in the ring and she swished her tail, it spoils the other horses. Even the ring footing kicking up from her hooves and splatting against it while working is loud.The funny: My mare uses it to her advantage now. Another horse too close to her rear on the crosstie behind her? Swish/smack. Horse lounges out the stall door at her while walking down the aisle. Swish/smack. I ask her to pickup her hind hood for picking? Swish/smack.

These are my favorite tail bag. The elastic band at the top really helps hold the bag up and stay in place. I’ve ordered 8 so far and all have held up amazing. I can’t attest to how waterproof they are since we have had roughly 70” of rain in the last year (we’ve had 6” this month). They have done an amazing job keeping the tails dry and clean. The ends can be wet depending on the horse. Standing in this much water all the time I do not think anything can stay completely dry. I swap the bags out weekly to clean. Absolutely the best.
