They were very difficult to install in a metal post because when you drill a hole for them, they just set in the hole and there is nothing to hold it in place. We had to glue them in place. There were also no installation instructions.

Although they are expensive, they work well.

Why do these things cost so much? I needed them to create the finished look I wanted and there weren’t any other nice looking options.

Installing is easy if you know what you are doing or if you have instructions on how to put it together. Unfortunately this was not the case. I paid the Muzata to do the design for a stair and railing on a lower level. After several emails back and forth we got it right. I received several packages on several days. Some came from USA, other packages came from China. I did not know what parts were for what project. I do have parts that I do not know if I need to use them or not. No one is available to chat online or in facebook. Some parts that I know where they supposed to go don't fit. Muzata T316 Cable Railing Protector Sleeve for Metal Post does not fit on Metal Posts!!!
