Our Rubber Spider Bungee secures the tire chains on your vehicles during winter. It’s a durable and reliable solution that keeps the tire chains tight in place, maximizing the life of the tire chains. The central hub of heavy rubber arms evenly distributes the tension and decreases how hard the chain hits the ground. The metal hooks (crimped onto the arm ends) at the end of each arm will provide a secure and firm attachment that connects to the cable and link tire chain. - Bungee Measurements: The heavy-duty spider bungee for semi-tire chains of 20-7/8" (overall diameter) has six even-sized arms with a length of 9-5/16" each. We attached the arms to a welded ring with a diameter of 2-3/8". These arms are radiating outward from the central hub and you can attach them with hooks attached at the end of each arm.

It can withstand hard conditions encountered during winter driving, including low temperatures -22°F, ice, snow, and road salts. - Easy Installation: The rubber spider tensioner is a user-friendly design that will quickly attach to truck chains. You have to begin by attaching metal hooks ((crimped onto the arm ends) to the side of the chain and outside of the tire, then continue to do it for all the arms—by the sixth arm you might have to stretch a bit. You don’t need additional tools or hardware for installation.
- Compatibility: Our orange tire chain bungee offers compatibility with a wide range of commercial and non-commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, ATVs, UTVs, Garden tractors, snow blowers, etc. However, the vehicle tire size must range from and in-between 22-1/2" & 24-1/2". Additionally, they work with snow, cable, and link tire chains.
