Gnocchi are my very favorite meal! I grew up rolling gnocchi with a fork! This was a family endeavor and there were plenty of forks for all. If you didn't participate in the making of these delightful little potato pillows of yummy fluff you got none for dinner!! These gnocchi paddles are fun and convenient, and the gnocchi always comes out looking professional. Problem was in my family there was only 1 paddle. There is no excuse to not participate in helping with this special meal. Well, now I have 3 plus 1!! The wood rods are interesting. I have yet to use them but am looking forward to trying to make these cavatelli. This set can also make a nice family gift! It comes in a handy linen sack to keep everything together. The wood paddle is a nicely finished beech. I don't see any roughness anywhere. It cleans easily with warm water but I also give it a quick wipe with a clean dishcloth afterwards. You will not regret this purchase! Even if you only use it once a year with your friends or family!

Nice quality wood. Good instructions for care included. Works well for making gnocci and other types of pasta. Three boards and rollers included, should last quite a while! Sturdy wood, not flimsy. Comes with a storage bag, but instructions say it should be hung vertically for storage, so maybe don't use that.Excellent, simple product. Does what it's designed for.

It's sort of a head-scratcher why one person would need three of these, but that makes it perfect for sharing with the other foodies in your life... I've never owned one before to compare these to, but they seem quite nice. The ridges are deep and defined, and the edges are relatively smooth. Only a couple of the ones I got needed some fine sanding at the very end of the paddle -- just a *little* rough. The beech wood is really pretty in color, and it doesn't look or smell like it's finished with any oil or sealer (which I'm glad about....I'd rather apply my own). These are definitely something you'd want to handwash ONLY... The heat of the dishwasher would totally destroy these... Since they already have deep gouges in them, they'd likely crack in those low areas. Anyway, at this price, these are a steal and would also make a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves cooking stuff from scratch! Recommended!

Very nicely made, comes with a storage bag, and also a dowel to wrap the noodle not really necessary but it's another tool to make more shapes with.I love the 3 because I've taken to teaching my BF and his daughter how to make homemade pasta! We are doing for Easter so I ordered these. How fun and these are great.
