This is a very nice item and, as some others have already mentioned, the rear may have a 72mm thread but the front is much larger. I will be using mine on the Ingleton waterfalls walk in Yorkshire, so wanted to find a lens cap so I don't need to keep taking it off between shots. Took a chance and turns out the Sony ALCF77S.SYH 77mm lens cap fits perfectly. Happy days!

I love the soft the lens is especially on harsh lighting. It gives me that soft film look and hides blemishes. :)
