This is a replacement for a lost Tesla converter. This one works great and even better looking.

There are several Reddit and other online threads about owners with Gen 2 Mobile Charger (MC) showing a red T in the green LED "Tesla" on the MC blinking 5 times. 5 blinks means a problem with the adapter plug. The symptom I had was that I was no longer charging at the full 12A I used to get, but now only 8A--which is REALLY slow--along with the red T blinking 5 times and errors about reduced charge rate on the Tesla screen. Recommendation is to pull the adapter out of the MC and reseat it firmly. That didn't help. Bought this to try the next least expensive solution. It worked! For reference, I'm charging my Model Y off a 100ft, 12/3 Outdoor heavy duty cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BMTF22QG) plugged into an outdoor 20A GFCI outlet. When I inserted this adapter into the mobile charger and plugged it in, I'm getting 13A charge rate instead of the 12A rate I was getting previously---better than the original OEM adapter! Now, if this lasts longer than a year, that'll be longer lasting than OEM as well. This adapter is a tight fit in the MC, but that's good. The OEM was also tight, and hopefully, this fits as well and creates a good seal. If you don't get the adapter to seat flush with your MC exterior case, keep pushing and wiggle. It should fit as flush as the original if seated correctly.I'll update this review if I have any issues or other feedback.
