The skull is very realistic looking aside from the colors of course but it is also very accurate which is important with these because they will be used to educate others by using it as a visual tool. It comes apart and goes back together easily so it makes handling it much easier. Has a bit more parts that most other brands so that is something that helps set it apart from the others. Overall a really nice visual aid.

I got this for educational purposes for my kids. We see skulls so frequently in art and toys it seems, I wanted to have an accurate depiction sitting around, especially one they can take apart and examine. To have something like this that's full size and accurate can really bring home a lot of things, like how small the brain actually is. The kids are definitely fascinated by it.The coloring is a little strange, but I feel like it makes the skull a little less weird to be sitting on the shelf. It's clearly not funky decoration.It took us a while before we were brave enough to take it apart, but we got it apart and back together again. Things are fitting quite as well as they were before, maybe 95%, but we're going to try again. The plastic is a soft feeling plastic, which is good because I'm less worried about breaking it when we're putting it back together, and we've dropped pieces a couple times with no breakage.

I teach a college level introductory anatomy & physiology class and it's often very difficult for students to see how the facial and cranial bones come together inside the skull. Generally speaking, learning the bones of the skull can be challenging. This model is fantastic. It is solid, made of high quality resin, and the colored bones really help students see where they articulate. A complete set of directions for how to re-assemble the skull if completely taken apart is provided although it would be a great learning experience to have students struggle to do this on their own. I plan to buy more of these for my students but it would also be a great thing to get a child who is curious about the body.

This is teenager size skull. It is great for education purposes. Kids have chances to look and puzzle the human size skull. Each part has designated colored. It may look scary at the beginning, but kids got used to it because this colorful skull can also be used for Halloween decoration.Issue: after disassembled, it becomes hard to connect the pieces back together. I originally gave 5 stars. I had to change it due to its quality. The product quality will need to improve because the pieces are not connecting back.
