Back in the olden days, we had to learn our A&P via 2D illustrations. It would have been immensely helpful to have had a model of this variety to get the full 3-D view on organs and systems.Clever assembly of layering, and some of the parts come apart as well, such as the heart, so you can see the valve works inside.The reproductive system parts half as well, offering more perspective on depth and location.Great for instructors in the classroom to illustrate systems.Great as a contest to put the poor patient back together again (despite knowing where organs belong, I dropped the feller and had to reassemble him at my most tired, lowest-IQ moment of the night, which could have been funny to an observer...).Has both male and female reproductive systems, and a convertible top (of sorts) to identify areas of the brain.If you have a future nurse, doctor, healthcare professional in your household, or if you'd just prefer your children learn a little more biology than they're possibly getting at school, this is your ticket.Well-made and will withstand a drop (wasn't PLANNING to test that, but I sure did!). Packaged carefully so it arrives intact and has an index for reference.Clever assembly with the use of magnets to hold them all together (once you decide on your preferred gender).Great learning tool!

I homeschool my daughters and this is a great addition to our "classroom" materials. Great way to teach kids about biology and the inner workings of organs, where they are located, what they do, how they fit inside our bodies, etc. It's big enough to be effective without being so big that I have a hard time finding a place to store it when not in use. Very well made. Very educational. Highly recommend.
