It should fit most Fords, but it did not fit my 1967 F100. It is a different gismo on the back of the lock. I got one from a place that sells New Old Stock stuff and he indicated that 67 was a one year deviation from normal. It seems to look like other locks that I have replaced. Giving it 4 stars for being lead to believe it fits my vehicle..

I bought a 73 torino that was missing the lock cylinder so I bought this and it’s worked awesome for the last couple years

These cylinders were different from my originals but worked just fine. They were a good price. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Bought this as a cheap replacement for the original locks in my 1969 mustang. They seemed to work fine upon initial installation. The key was smooth and the locking mechanism worked fine. However, the first time I left the house found that the keyhole jams extremely easily to the point where the key can sometimes (actually almost always) not even be inserted. No amount of graphite or dry lube can fix this. I'd hate to end up being locked out of my car away from home because my door locks are of poor quality and don't even allow me to insert my key. If you do manage to get the key in, the locking mechanism works fine. The issue I found was with the flimsy protective plate that is supposed to fold back when putting the key in. It seems to get crooked and stuck, and is nearly impossible to straighten out again. This was just my experience, others may be different, but I will be buying a new set of door locks for my car. This experience has been a re-affirmation of the old saying, "You get what you pay for."

Didn’t really need instructions if you can see how the old part is assembled. That being said, installation was a breeze. U-shaped clips took a little convincing with a flat-blade screwdriver and a few love taps with a hammer. Other than that, works perfectly!

I got these for my 1979 Ford F-150. This is a restored truck, so I only drive it a few thousand miles a year and it is inside during any cold/wet weather. Therefore, I don't need the locks to stand up to daily use and weather. They are not the highest quality, however, they work just fine and are far less expensive than OE locks. For my application, they're fine. I'm not sure how well they would hold up with daily use and severe weather.I did have to grind the bottom tab a bit as it was a little too large to fit into the opening in the door. Not a big deal.I did discover that you don't want to try to get a copy of the key. I had misplaced one of the 2 keys that came with it so I decided to get a key cut. No one could do it because the keys are much thinner than any of the average keys and their computers would not recognize it to scan the pattern to transfer to a new key. I wasn't able to find a nearby store with an "Old-Fashioned" key cutting machine, so I can't say for sure that they can or cannot cut one. However, even if one was cut, it would most likely be too thick for the lock mechanism. So in short, don't lose the key!On the plus side, the locks work smoothly and do what they're designed to do effectively, so overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. You just need to factor some of these other things in when you're making your decision to purchase or not.
