The original part number has been discontinued so I took a chance and ordered this one. It fits just fine but it's probably tighter than the original one. The old one had a zip tie to hold it onto the shifter housing but the new one is snug enough that it's not needed. This new boot was to fix the gear oil smell coming into the cab which, as we all know, is a WONDERFUL smell!

This rubber boot works excellent on my 99 frontier ,easy to install just applie oil on the small side like everyone else mentioned

My S14's original boot was all torn up and leaking transmission fluid. It was simple to cut the remnants of the old boot off, put a little motor oil on the inside of this new one and slide it into position over the top of the shifter. The fit is perfect, as one would expect from an OEM part.
