Simply connect the drain to the DWV system from above the floor at rough-in -- only a 4 in. subfloor hole is needed. The compact, universally compatible drain works with brass or Schedule 40 tailpieces and easily connects to any plumbing configuration. Use this for freestanding tub installs. Works great. Easy to install and use and good quality. I wish the flange was just a little wider to allow better and easier affixing to the subfloor. And I wish it was cheaper... this is a lot of money for what amounts to a glorified shower drain. Overall good product though.

We recently remodeled our bathroom and added a soaking tub. This Oatey kit was very easy to use. Instructions were easy to follow and everything you need is in the box to attach the drain to the tub.

This great quality, darn expensive. Wish the ring an inch bigger so the screws won’t be at the edge of the hole.

Ower priced item. Work as described.Metal pipes makes the job so much difficult. While installing tub it touches around and its leaking. Its almost impossible to drop down the heavy tubs without touching around. Not recommended
