Ordered to replace the starter motor on my 2001 Ford F150 4.2L V6 and it fit and works as it should. time will tell if it holds up, but for now it works.

Does not engage the flywheel. Stopped working after 1 month, ironically 2 days after the return period.Waste of money and time.

Bought this over a month ago, and haven't thought about it since. Works great. Even if I had to replace it 3 times, it would still be cheaper then the one I bought at the auto parts store that only lasted 2 years.

It’s a good replacement starter. A good price too. Local parts stores wanted three times as much as I paid for this one. Unfortunately I didn’t do a full check of potential problems. It turned out to be a broken ground wire at the firewall. I’ll keep the starter for future. Truck has 235,000 miles. It may be needed some day.

Currently installed and working for 1 week now on my 2006 4.2l v6 F150. I was skeptical at first but a $50 no name amazon starter was pretty tempting over a $170(+$40 core charge) remanned from autozone and I haven't been let down just yet. I guess the only complaint that could be had is that it doesn't sound as aggressive as the factory starter? Idk though just sounds like an engine starting and the install wasn't bad at all because thankfully it's only held on with 2 bolts. I highly reccomend for anyone who needs to fix their truck and doesn't want to break the bank, give it a shot, I did.
