Absolutely do not buy this product. In my attempt to put it together, I got exposed to tiny shards of fiberglass from the inside of the black rod that goes into the shade. There is fiberglass in my hands and fingers and skin and my clothes. It is possible I breathed it in/could’ve got it in my eyes. Do not buy. Even if it isn’t fiberglass, it’s something incredibly similar. It is nearly invisible so you don’t know where it is on you. I request a full refund.

I bought this because the fluorescent lights at work were starting to give me headaches. It gives the perfect amount of shade. It was a little bigger than I anticipated, but it works great and covers my desk.

A bit larger than I was expecting so on my new white desk, to say this leaf stands out, would be sorely understated.It is pop up and setup is minimal, but it does come with rod’s similar to a tent, to stabilize along with a heavy duty” c clamp” looking desk clamp, to anchor.I will keep this for days where I might feel a headache brewing, but otherwise I likely will not use this consistently and will explore smaller and less eye catching options.It has a bendable rim, which makes folding it down convenient, however it doesn’t come with a carry case so save the plastic wrap it comes with since there are no ties to keep it together and it will easily unfold to its large 67” diameter.

I purchased this for my office work days and not even with 10 day usage the pole that screws into the handle for it to connect to the desk malfunctioned. It was stripped on the screwing part and like I said earlier it was only after 10 days of usage. The seller did not respond to a replacement part and unfortunately it was a $50 plus loss.

My office cubicle faces a main thoroughfare with extremely bright lights. When I brought this in to work, it took a few of us to figure it out and I'm really happy we stuck with it. This thing does an amazing job of blocking the obnoxious glare from my eyes, while still allowing the light to hit documents on my desk so no need for an additional desk lamp, and it actually makes me feel quite cozy. Folks, I'm here to tell you you will see this thing across the whole office, and if you are in a highly trafficked area you will be getting a lot of attention and will be answering many questions. It is definitely and attention-getter! I don't mind the questions and the comments because I did mind the headaches I was getting prior to unfurling the majestic black sails.
