The green dot is crisp and easy so see. The glass is crystal clear and seems to hold zero. The recharging cover is great for keeping dust off the glass when youβre not carrying or using the scope. If something does go wrong with it down the line, I know I can depend on O lights lifetime warranty. Definitely worth the money.

I have a few of these and they are decent. Good large clear window and the battery does last all day when training 8 to 10 hours at a time. The recharging hood is a nice touch too.

Unboxing it, you will sure see that this optic is entering high end optic market. Sadly it didnβt work for my application on dove tail mounted optic plates. It is a bit larger than micro optics and that can work for some while others may mot prefer. It is worth a try when looking into optics for price and function

This thing works great so far. Have it mounted on a 10mm and it holds it's zero well. I really like the larger sight picture and the rechargeable hood is amazing. I have seen some complaints about a glare at the top of the window, but I don't get any of that. Pretty clear, maybe a bit of a red tint. But for the money, works great.

So, I rated this not for me but for the people who want an honest unbiased review. With my shooting experience my biggest thing is durability. So, I put this thing through satans obstacle course for just that. Now I will say $140 bucks down the drain because it did not last 4 days. I love the concept and the versatility to charge. However, it does NOT hold the zero nor did it withstand 2000 rounds in 4 days. However, for the price and depending on if you are a home defense type of person who will really only use your weapon in case of a situation as such or a very rare shooter recreationally then, THIS PRODUCT IS FOR YOU. It gets you in the realm of trying new things and really stepping outside the iron sights realm of things to have a little more fun with customizability. So again I will say for frequent experienced shooters NO, for beginners and home defenders product should be amazing for you. I hope this helps.

Mounted on G19 Gen 5 M.O.S.Marine VeteranPurpose of the weapon it's mounted on is self defence/training.TLDR: Good optic and innovative designThe longer part.I bought this because i wanted to try the new red dot "fad". First impressions are good.I did get a little frustrated because the windage and elevation were backwards (could also be I'm just stupid which is a non zero chance).I was concerned about holding zero due to everything saying that was an issue. I put 300 rounds on the optic in about 4 hours and did not have an issue. Decided to see if I could get the zero to shift by racking the slide with the optic on the tailgate of my truck, smashing the optic on my holster, and a few other things I could think up. The sight held. The charging system while a little wonky, is fantastic. I don't need to rezero my weapon every time the battery gets low. Which means I'll be more inclined to turn at the brightness needed not the lowest that will work.

I have long been the guy who gets tormented by the other guys in my squad for using OLight lights on my firearms and have yet to have been given a reason, by them or the products themselves, to stop and pay 4 times as much for a surefire. So when I saw OLight made a red dot I had to try it out.It works great. I mounted it on my Echelon using the factory RMR pins with no issues and it's rock solid. Zeroed @ 25m with less than 15 rounds and held for about 300 rounds no problem so far. The charging case is convenient and easy to use, shake awake works great, and the window is HUGE, like SRO or CMore huge. Some folks like that, some don't, but I think it gets me on target faster while competing. I normally run an EOTech EFLX on the Echelon but I think the OLight is going to stay on there for a while, at least to see how it holds up after a couple of months and a few thousand rounds. I did drop the gun on concrete with the sight on it already and it didn't have any issues.

I got this on Black Friday 45% off and was super excited because, what a deal. I was looking forward to putting it on my Glock to complete my setup, but after charging it overnight as per instructions, I took it to my gunsmith for installation and it wouldnβt turn on. Fresh out the box and it wonβt turn on. The charging box works, the package itself is nice, the red dot itself feels like quality but it just wonβt turn on. Iβm past the process of troubleshooting and probably going to end up sending it to the manufacturer. Kind of a bummer. Looks good, doesnβt work.
