I have taken this out camping many times. I love it! Very convenient for keeping camping gear, night clothes, hats, gloves, book to read and sidearm off the ground and handy. All right there in arms reach. When I set everything up to try it at home, the cat decided she likes it too 🙂 Highly recommend!

I have 3 of these. One of this size, and 2 of the medium size. My original purchase was for the medium size as a rain cover for my pack and one for my partner. Our first trip out with them, it POURED rain on us for 2 days. They are easy to apply to the pack as a rain cover. Everything stayed in place as we walked, and all of our stuff stayed dry. When we made camp at night, these serve as a table of sorts, elevating your stuff off the ground so you don't bend over as much. We were in a tent on that trip, so we used 1 of the gear hammocks to hold our packs off the ground, and the other to cover the too. Everything stayed dry through the night. The bungee drawstrings kept the cover from blowing off. These also serve as chair while on the trail. Pretty luxurious for taking breaks. A great, ultralight multifunctional piece of kit.

Der Artikel kam schon benutzt an, der Vorbesitzer hat ihn schon "zusammengebaut" - so habe ich es gleich beim Auspacken gesehen - und leider fehlen die Karabiner!Man hätte die Retoure prüfen müssen bevor man den Artikel dem nächsten schickt.Zur Gear Hammock selbst kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, ich habe sie erst einmal benutzt.

I really like this product, it is so versatile. So far ive used it as a backpack cover to keep it dry in my kayak. It is also super great as a storage hammock, can easilly hang it underneat the hammock and fit a bunch of stuff. I have yet to use it as a chair.

Works great as a peak bag on the ridgeline in my hammock. Hangs well and stays put with some prusiks. Might buy another or more to use for backpack cover, seat, gear sling, etc.

Really lost all confidence in onewind products except the tarp (it's great), this like their underquilt requires you to provide your own hardware. There are no clips, and the attached lines are too short to reach the ends of the hammock to just tie or attach there.

Gestern bestellt, heute geliefert.Musste mir das direkt ansehen und ausprobieren.Als Cover für einen Daypack mit 30 Liter passt es schon hervorragend, als kleinen „Hängematte“ für ein paar Utensilien (Schuhe, Wasser, etc) ist es sehr praktisch. Die Seilspanner sind in rot sehr auffällig, habe diese direkt ausgetauscht. Das Cover soll man ja laut Bildern als Sitzgelegenheit nutzen können, habe aber in der Beschreibung dazu nichts gefunden (auch keine maximale Belastbarkeit), daher lasse ich das mal lieber sein.Absolute Empfehlung, doch wer meint seinen 50 Liter Rucksack unter die Hängematte hängen zu wollen…sollte lieber das Cover für 70 Liter nehmen.

Had the first opportunity to use it this past weekend. I really liked the ease of setting it up with the adjustable guyline adapters, but unfortunately the fabric ripped as I tried to tighten the drawcord. It was raining and I was trying to store my bag underneath my hammock to keep everything dry and it just ripped. Very disappointed. Still giving two stars for the ease of use.Update: The company really stand behind their product and has great customer service. They sent me a replacement product, but I have not had a chance to use as of yet. I have to assume that the one that I got originally was just faulty.
