I was especially impressed with the concept of removing the tab tops on fruits and veggies. cans. However, more often tha not, it has snapped off the tab and I'm left with trying to use a conventional can opener. The bottle cap remover works well on both soda and soft drink tops. I understand why the orange color was chosen, but it's a little jarring to the eye in my red/black/white kitchen. A selection of colors would be preferable

On the surface, this appears to be a bit pricey, but the "bang for the buck" is worth the cost. My son gave me this for Christmas several years ago and I use it everyday to open bottles and pull top cans. I am 73 and have lost a lot of grip strength from aging and arthritis. I ordered this one simply to keep in my car. It is a very sturdy tool, very well made and holds up to use. I have not encountered a bottle that it did not open and the "hints" brochure that comes with it was very helpful in learning how to maximize its use. I have recommended this to friends and would not hesitate to give it as a gift to anyone who has difficulty with hand strength. The magnet is very strong and I keep mine on my refrigerator so that it's always within easy reach.

Made on the cheap. However the magnet it quite strong & a bit difficult to remove from a surface. Not the best thing when you have hand issues. Will attempt to glue the cover back on. The metal part which is used to open a can looks like it’s ready to separate from the under plastic.

It really does work on opening bottle caps, cans, anything that has to be twisted, turned or pulled open, this gadget really works. Highly recommend for people with hand issues, like arthritis or hand surgery.Gamechanger!!

Bought this for drinks kept in my bedroom mini-fridge, mainly for soda can pop-tabs to keep my long nails from breaking or cracking. Works perfectly! It's also been helpful with twist-off water bottle lids. I'm 70+ years old, have arthritis, bursitis, and 2 torn ligaments in my dominant arm (ouch!). This gadget has been so helpful! My only "complaint" is that the magnets to place it on the fridge are SO STRONG! I'd originally placed it on the side of my little fridge, but when struggling to get it off to use it, it fell to the floor in the small space between the fridge and dresser. Was able to retrieve it with my handy grabber stick. I now keep it on TOP of the mini-fridge with the small end extending over the side (see photo); no more dropsy! This is a great tool for elderly, disabled, or just needing to save your fingernails.

I've bought at least 5 of these over the years. Not because they wear out, but because I have so many family members and friends with arthritic hands or decreased hand strength. My only wish (but not one that would cause me to lower the 5-star rating) is that it had an opening big enough for a small juice bottle. As it is, works great on all soda bottles and water bottles. The fact it's also magnetic is an added bonus. The shape makes it comfortable to grip and requires very little pressure to open stubborn bottles. Can't recommend this one enough!

The price is high but it's been great for my 8y/o opening cans. The only down fall the magnet isn't that strong for sticking to the fridge.

If your elderly i don’t recommend. Its still hard for an elderly person to grip this tool and to figure out which shape that they need to use in order to get a plastic cap off a pop or water bottle. I wouldn’t recommend this for elderly that don’t have the strength or eyesight to use this.

I bought it specifically to open the cat food tins with the ring pull, and it works like a charm. I had actually considered looking for a different brand of cat food just because I couldn't open them. Thanks to this little gem of an opener, my cat is very pleased that I can continue buying her favourite food. I like that it has a magnet, to keep on the fridge, always handy and never displaced.I thought the price was a little steep, but seeing how well it works, I will not complain.

This is an AWESOME opener!!! I really don’t know how I ever did without it! I have an intelligent cat that insists on eating canned cat food twice a day (along with prescription dry cat food) and he’s loving my using the opener on his cans. No more struggles with the pull tab, no more broken fingernails, and no more listening to Mom constantly complaining! Seriously, I can only say wonderful things about the opener. I love the fact that it opens bottles, beer tabs, and even pop bottles. In fact, I ordered 2 more for my daughter and daughter-in-law to put in their Christmas stockings. This has got to be right at the top of the list for unique kitchen inventions. I also have to mention that the magnetic backing is so helpful...I have it on the side of my microwave over the stove, where I open cans for cooking, so it is always available to grab and use! I’m so happy that I found this on Amazon, and I highly recommend it to anyone (especially cat moms).

Got it for my mother who has arthritic hands and could only open soup tins with great difficulty. Works Great !

great for my mum she cant open bottles or cans properly she has bad arthritis in 2 hands this was perfect for her she loved this magic opener much easier for her to open cans and bottles many thanks would recomend to anyone with bad arthritis.
