It includes a filter and adjustment screw which allows you to reduce the spray pattern down to 75 percent of its rated distance. Its low-angle trajectory helps improve efficiency by minimizing wind drift. The female inlet threads are compatible with Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. The fixed pattern nozzle is available in 4-, 8-, 10-, 12-, 15- and 18-ft. radius and quarter, half, full, center strip, side strip, and end strip patterns. For optimum efficiency pair the fixed pattern spray nozzle with a professional series pressure-regulating spray body set at 30 PSI. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

My house sits on a corner lot and I have strips of grass between the road and the sidewalk that are 5' wide. These heads irrigate those long slender strips of grass great with minimal waste of water on the sidewalk.

When you need heads for those narrow sections of parkway lawn, these are what you need. They fit the standard pop-up sprinkler bodies so get what you need and you're good to go.

Do not use these with high efficiency heads as they put out about three times as much water and will flood their zone before the other zones are properly watered. There is no way to reduce flow without also reducing the distance. They would probably be okay if all other heads on the zone are the same orbit spray type.

These are not a sprinkler head. This is a piece that fits inside the sprinkler head.
