Bought it to make my own D style patch bay with connections I want.. You can make a custom layout to your liking way cheaper then a pre made patch bay! Better yet! If your needs change down the road, swapping out jacks is a cinch!

I used this to make a patchbay for speakers in my PA. Worked perfectly and I just used metal screws to attach the connectors to the chassis.I used GLS Audio 1/4" Panel Mount jacks and they worked great.The rack panel feels very well built, I have used panels before that feel like tinfoil, this is basically a tank, It seems sturdy enough to run over it with a car.

It serves it purpose very well. stays nice and strait while being transported installed in the case and it helps to keep the case that much more rigid.

Worked perfect in my gig rack. Filled it with a variety of connectors and all fit as expected. There was even enough space on each side to remote my wireless antennas!

This panel enabled me to expand the microphone inputs in our grade school gym sound system. Now they have optional mic inputs behind the stage for plays.The XLR jacks lined up perfectly and the panel mounted in the rack easily. This was a very pleasant experience.
