Bought these to try for a budget friendly setup on recommendation from a buddy. Build quality left something to be desired, but the blades arrived razor sharp, so I decided to hunt with them. After a few shots in a foam block the blades began to loosen and rattle around inside the housing. Not good if you’re trying to be quiet, I was able to just use un shot heads to take into the woods. They flew well and shot accurately. My first opportunity to use them came with a shot at a blacktail buck at 15 yards. Dropped him right where he stood. Double lung and severed the main arteries to the heart. After the butchering process I had found that the arrow had also come completely apart inside this deer. I never did find the blades or the tip. It’s ability to kill deer is there, but with the broadhead disintegrating like that, that is a hard no on any larger game. I’m sticking with G5 Montecs for elk.

Over all a good fixed blade broadhead. My one complaint is they are a little dull. I have the sharpening stones around so I have put each one to the stones. Because of the style, they are super easy to sharpen and keep sharp. So with a minimal amount of effort, these are excellent for the money. Got a doe this last year at 40 yards through the front shoulder, complete pass through.Update: Got another deer this year. This time a good sized buck. Shot was about 25 yards and again a complete pass through in the shoulder. I would give these a 5 star is it was not for the need to sharpen them right out of the gate.

At just over $4 per. these K8 broad heads are worth every penny. I have spent a lot of money comparing broad heads and usually you get what you pay for but it sure is nice to find quality and affordability. All six heads spun true and were spot on by scale for weight. Accuracy, tip for my fellow archers don’t compare a solid blade head with a open razor blade head. Solid blades like straight fletched arrows. Degree / twist Your fletching and now your head is fighting the twisting motion resulting in poor accuracy. Improvement, could be a little sharper

These broad-heads from OTW far exceeded my expectations. They are very durable, sharp out of the box, and fly true. The trocar tip helps with penetration on any animal you choose to hunt. All broad-heads that I received all weighed within a couple of grains of each other. The protective storage case was also a nice addition to the purchase. i would absolutely recommend these broad-heads to any hunter that wants to a good quality broad-head but doesn't want to break the bank.

Took my 9 year old, hog hunting, with a recurve crossbow. He shot a 80lb hog with this, it passed right through, and left a great blood trail. It ran.... maybe 30 yards. These seemed to fly true, and they came out of the box, super sharp. The plastic case is ok, but kind of hard to close. All in all, I will definitely buy these broadheads again to hunt with.Update: I have since killed 2 deer, and 3 more hogs with these, 3 of the 5 was with a compound bow. These fly true, and passed through every time! I just bought 6 more. These are easy to resharpen, so I will have 12 good broad heads to hunt with this season! Can't beat it for the price!!!

See my video above. These broadheads are pretty great. They have excellent penetration and fly like field points - this is really important in traditional archery. I was able to get 2 inch groups with these from about 15 yards and that is perfect for deer season. You really can’t beat the price vs performance on these. If you shoot 3 under and use the tip of the arrow to aim you will be very familiar with the sight picture and won’t have to adjust or feel uncomfortable when you draw back on that big buck this year. Take care everyone and enjoy the great outdoors!

I bought these for deer hunting because they were cheaper and I read a lot of good reviews on them. I went out hunting this morning, had a giant 12 pointer 20 yards from my stand. I drew back and shot, the deer jumped and ran a few feet and looked around. He then went into the brush and I never saw him again. We walked miles looking for him there was never any blood trail. When I inspected the broad head all of the razors had broken off INCLUDING the metal tip on the head. My arrow (victory) had penetrated at least 9" into the deer, meat and hair on it. I'm assuming the razors broke off when they hit ribs. Boy, do I wish I had spent the $45 for quality broad heads. On top of that my buddy killed a buck at the same exact time. It was an amazing snowy day and now I have a full year to regret my purchase. DISAPPOINTED. I wrote this review to help others, please dont make the same mistake I did, a broad head should not just fall apart like mine did.
