- For Sealing Sewn Seams: Repairs on Polyurethane (PU) coated breathable waterproof fabric: leisure waterproofs, sportswear, military uniforms, protective clothing, tents, covers, awnings etc.
- This fabric repair tape is sealed with a waterproof coating and won’t peel off during a wash .
- Apply using domestic Iron (medium / medium hot setting).

Tried a number of different coated fabrics. Tried the method with the iron. No go. Attempted again with a small heat gun. Making sure just to get the tape hot. An it definitely was. The tape was going from that white color to just about clear from the heat. Than laying some parchment over it while it was still good an warm. And pressing down on it with all I had with an 1.5” silicone roller.But either method tried. After it cooled you can run your finger across the fabric over the tape. A couple passes a the edge of the tape would be coming up.Than if grabbed a pulled. It would very easily just peel off. Without much of any force.So the search is still on for me to locate a seam worthy tape. This isn’t it.

This product is iron on and rather difficult to apply. I had already used self adhesive tape and it was much better.
