Instructions for installing the drain plug
This drain plug comes with 4 gaskets to retain water without problems, the first 2.36" gasket is placed at the base of the support ring very well sealed to the base of the plug, after fixing the first gasket, you will put the fixing gasket on the drain according to the dimensions of the drain leak you have.
For drain size 1.1" - 1.34" you will put the 2.36" gasket at the base of the ring and the 1.22" gasket
For drain size 1.34" - 1.73" you will put the 2.36" gasket at the base of the ring and the 1.46" gasket
For drain size 1.73" - 1.96" you will put the 2.36" gasket at the base of the ring and the 1.77" gasket

Looks attractive but in order to not impede the drainage of water we had to tilt it on the side. It doesn't work properly and the brass tarnishes underneath and impedes water flow.

I mean it’s not really that hard to install. You just have to take it out of the package and pop it in the hole, but depending on the depth of where your sink kind of cuts off in the shape of the sink it might not fit. It’s meant for a very flat surface and you should have a little bit of depth. There’s also no directions in there at all about what the three different rubber rings are for so we had to play around with them and eventually take two of them off. The other downside is is that it does catch some hair, but it gets caught up in the rubber rings so at least once a week you have to take it out and clean it in a different sink to get any hairs out if that’s your sink situation.

Good product just doesn't seem to seal until it is covered with water. When you place it in the sink hole, it feels like it will not keep the water from going down the drain, but when water pressure holds it down it does seal.
