I have done 1000’s of square feet with out this tool. I finally found it. This is worth many times what they are charging for it in labor savings etc. Works great!

It's sturdy, but pretty crudely manufactured. It uses stickers over raw steel to protect what you press or pull against. These come off every time you use it, and finally lose all adherence after a few times. With that said...... It is functional for what it's for, and as long as you make sure the cushions are in the right place before pulling the level, it will get you through a small install before driving you nuts. When using it against the end wall, have a couple different sized pieces of plywood at hand to spread out the pressure against the drywall. Also, when you are lining it up against the wall, the angle is really bad, and can slip over the board and damage the tongue. I used a piece of wood in front to balance it out to push straight.

The felt that protects from scratches is not good quality it keeps shifring. The product seems solid and makes the last few rows of hardwood installation very easy.

The floor jack I received had a bevel on the grasping lip. Just before I get enough pressure to close the gap in the flooring , the tool pops loose rendering it useless. For me this jack was a waste of money.
