This splash has a great sound, good volume and cut off quickly as a splash is expected to. It looks amazing with a bit darker look than a regular "shinny gold"... Paiste delivered a great affordable cymbal with this 900 series! I'm very pleased and looking to add other crashes and chinas from this series in my kit...About the shipment, I was a bit disappointed that the cymbal was only placed in an Amazon envelope and not properly protected against possible damage. Luckily the cymbal arrived intact!
