Seller shipped fast and the wooden stand has a nice velvet lining and a slot for your bow. I can still keep my shoulder rest on , I have to move it. Nice decor for your room. Much nicer than the metal ones.

I have 2 larger ones that I use for my guitars. I first saw one years ago at a local music store with a cello in it.After some research I found one on go strings to purchase. A few months later a friend found another one for me at a consignment shop. Having recently purchased a viola & a violin I was searching for a very stable stand for each of them. I came across these stands while searching on Amazon and bought one for the violin. I also got a larger size for the viola & am very happy with with both. They are a bit pricey but cheaper than replacing an instrument.
