The cabinet is nice but there's a big, ugly, dent on the side. Disappointed.

The file cabinet is of good quality, very easy to assemble and very sturdy. The supplier shipped it in a timely manner and it was packaged incredibly well....arrived without any damage at all.I will certainly buy againtook my son and I about 45 minutes (1-1/2 Man Hours) to fully assemble using simple hand tools.

I don't normally write reviews, because I never really feel it's worth the effort. I find it odd that the one I'm writing is for something as boring as a file cabinet. But here we are. I have to admit, my hopes weren't high with this thing, it's just a file cabinet after all, however, I was thoroughly impressed with how well it not only looks and works once it's built, but also with the assembly and the shipping packaging. The cabinet is shipped in two separate boxes, each weighing about 40-50 pounds and containing the parts required to assemble it. The part of the packaging that was most impressive, to me, was that each box came with extra metal inside of it purely to protect the corners during shipping. The protectors were of very nice quality as well. Kudos to them for realizing the reality of how things are handled in shipping and putting the extra effort in to create these sacrificial pieces. In regards to the assembly, yes, the instructions probably could use some work, but if you have some experience building things, and can read a little between the lines, it's pretty easy. It comes with extra hardware in case anything gets lost along the way. It also comes with a screwdriver. The instructions, while lacking text to describe how to build it, comes with pictures, and each piece of the cabinet is labeled with letters, which correspond to the letters indicated in the assembly instructions. It really just becomes a visual "match up" task at that point. There were some parts which were a little ambiguous, like when assembling the drawers themselves, the need to bend all the tabs over, but i figured it out regardless. That reminds me to exemplify TO LOCK THE DRAWERS TOGETHER, SLIP THE METAL THROUGH THE SLOTS THEN BEND THE TABS OVER TO LOCK IT TOGETHER.Anyways, that's it, enjoy the exciting world of filing cabinets!
