Instruction
Steps of installation:

2. Poke the brad through the hole.

These brads come in so many colors! The painted finish is slightly matte - just a tiny bit of shine, but definitely not a shiny/glossy finish, although some colors have more shine than others. (the gold ones are shiny) The length of the stem is just long enough to go through several layers of paper and still bend but not be too bulky. The stems separate easily. They are easy to bend back and forth and so far haven't broken. I love using brads on my scrapbooking pages and am excited about the color choices in this pack!

These brads are great for high-volume projects where you don't necessarily need to use them repeatedly (ex: wedding invitations). They were easy to use for the most part and did match the photos pretty closely. The only issue that I had was some of them weren't quite sharp enough to penetrate the vellum paper I'm using without bending a smidge. I was able to get them in with a bit of extra pressure and re-bend them without any problems, but this is something to be aware of, especially if you are using a thicker material like acetate sheets or heavy / glossy cardstock.
