I have several runs of temporary irrigation tubing for new landscape installations and will need to setup 3 more runs this spring. These appear to be of higher quality than the originals I started with but too soon to see them in action. I'm hoping that the push to install/remove fitting for the irrigation tubing is easier to work with. The sprinklers don't come with instructions but the Amazon product description is well done so should be fairly easy to follow when setting up. This 30 pack at $9.99 is a really good deal per piece, so might need to order more after I get to work with them some!

This pack of vortex emitters seem well made, and the push to fit connection makes hookups fast and easy. It's still winter so they were tested in my laundry tub. At 25 psi they'll produce a round spray pattern roughly 2 feet in diameter, maybe more, and use about .3 to .4 GPM. That is consistent with some name brand vortex emitters that I've tested.Considering the price of this pack of emitters they're a bargain.

I have never used push to connect emitters before. In initial testing these have worked well. I hope the rest of the season supports my confidence in them. I like that the tubing can be removed without cutting, which is usually needed with barb type emitters

These nifty emitter heads are part of a drip irrigation system that I'm installing in my garden this year. There are enough for all the plants in my garden and I like that the water flow is adjustable depending on the watering needs of my plants. These are a useful addition to a standard drip irrigation kit or to assemble your own kit.

I've usually used drip emitters for individual plants, but I thought I could give these vortex emitters a shot for heavily planted areas like lettuce and carrots. Compared to conventional barbed connectors, they are far simpler to install and reposition and offer uniform, customizable coverage. When it comes to changing irrigation, the quick-connect feature is revolutionary since it saves time and effort. Even on my small plants, they produce a steady spray pattern and fit my 1/4" tubing nicely despite their snug fit. In windy conditions, they also function better than emitters that use sprayers. When compared to hardware store costs, these are an incredible deal. Strongly advised for anyone installing or growing an irrigation system!

Solid water flow and coverage. I used these with the rain bird tubing set and they work great with it. I was a little concerned with the rain bird tuning as it is not a smooth finish but the press fit worked great and no leaks. This is actually better than the ones supplied with a kit as they are so much easier to disconnect (just push in the plastic ring and the tube comes right out). 5 stars!

I love the quick connect. How many times I've broken off the spout on these! This makes it so much easier and appears to be pretty water tight. We did find that some of our tubing from an irrigation set was a little bit too small and didn't connect, so make sure you use 1/4 inch tubing and not something smaller. The other big win is the price. 30 for $10 is a steal. Way less than the local hardware store. Maybe 5× less. So this is definitely the way to go. Yup. Give it a try.

I usually use the literal drip style emitters and have them next to individual plants. I decided to try this vortex style of emitter for use in bed style plantings where I have crops planted more densely like carrots, radishes, leaf lettuces, etc. I was debating between these or the sprayer style that have an output more like lawn sprinkler heads. We have a lot of windy days here and while I try not to water in the wind, sometimes it can't be avoided. I think the vortex style is the better choice for my situation. One nice thing about these is that they are the push to connect style emitters which in my opinion are much easier to work with than the barbed style. If I decided to change something around all I have to do is pop the emitter loose and do something different, a big time and energy saver. These work with the two different brands of 1/4" tubing that I have on hand. The connectors do seem a bit of a tighter fit when it comes to releasing than some others I have used but I'm still able to install and remove them without issue. Overall I think this is a nice set of 30 emitters and I consider them to be a fair value.
