It is what is advertised. Interestingly it feels a bit nicer than my other Afterglow 360 controller. That one's d-pad wore out after using it for basically all of my PC gaming since 2013 so I was pretty sure I wanted another one of these. Maybe it's just because it's new but all the buttons feel more responsive on it. The only thing that's significantly different is that you can unplug the cord from the controller whereas my other model was hardwired into it. I'm not sure if that's good or bad but it seems like it'll be nice for storing it or replacing the cord if there's an issue and the controller part still works fine. Plus, it has those cool blue lights in it. It gets the job done and I'm pretty confident it'll last me a good few years, which makes it a damn good deal considering the price.

Klare Kaufempfehlung.

As good as the real thing, build quality and feel wise. Works with a PC/Steam with no configuring. The led's flash and strobe in different games, such as drawing bows in Skyrim indicating when fully drawn etc. Would buy again.

This controller gets the job done. I was previously using a wireless USB dongle on my PC to connect to a conventional Xbox 360 controller, but that was pretty spotty at best. This wired connection is much more reliable. The controller performs well, although my biggest complaint would be that some of the buttons can be a little sticky. I have had a few instances where the right trigger got stuck down and I had to wiggle it to release it. This can be quite frustrating when you're in the middle of an intense Rocket League game. I think for the price it is a very reasonable controller.

Just like the original, it's pretty much the same. This smart track stuff? I can't find anything on it so I assume it makes the analogs better to compare to the actually Microsoft product.PREVIOUS review on earlier product ---I wrote a review on the Green AX version and while that version boasted problems it was fine for those who wanted to use emulators. The right analog dead center was awful, it got stick drift as well, while the left was completely fine. The rubber did come off eventually.Product Review ---I ordered the blue since I got green last time. Why did I choose Afterglow again instead of the wired Xbox 360 controller? The reviews and positivity on the new Afterglow controller, to which shame on you guys. While the controller or well analogs have improved its still the same controller as its AX brother. No new Xbox Guide button, crappy rubber on the analogs still and the analogs still aren't perfect. So let's look, the controller feels the same and weighs the same. Buttons work fine and the D-Pad is a squeaker. Probably a me problem. Most people probably buy these for playing emulators on Pc which is perfectly fine but.. If you wanted to game on the Xbox don't expect to be marksman McGee. While the analogs at least for me have improved slightly it's still difficult to aim.On the bright side, the lights aren't as bright in the new model.3/5Pros*-Hooks to a pc-Is wired, no batteries-Decent quality build-Can last for a long time with moderate care (my green ax version is still running after 3 years)-Lights up AND does not blind you!-Analogs Slightly improved with Smart trackCons*-No new Xbox Guide button-Analogs slightly improved with Smart track-Can be squeaky, more of a personal problem-Still using old rubber from AX versions on analogsBought from Amazon, no third party seller. Conclusion? If you need a controller but don't need to be super accurate at shooting and playing games on pc and don't mind flashy lights, then this is for you. If you need to be accurate and want a sturdier build quality, I'd advise to look into an actual Microsoft controller.

I purchased the Afterglow Wired Controller for Xbox 360 to play games on Steam on my laptop. The controller works perfectly with Steam, much better than the white Xbox 360 controller I used previously. I was able to just plug and play with the Afterglow controller. I've had the Afterglow controller for about four months now and it works as well as the day it arrived. It's a very sturdy, well-made controller. The controller is a nice size and the blue lights are really cool. The buttons never stick and the joysticks work perfectly. I can't attest to how it works with an Xbox because I've never used it for that purpose but if you play a lot of games on Steam, this is the controller you've been searching for.

Looks great, works great, and honestly more comfortable than actual xboc controllers, its a reasonably priced replacement for the xbox 360 controllers and it is well made had it for about 2-3 months, no issues.

The controller works well and does a great job. It's very responsive and the vibration motors feel decent. For a controller at nearly half the price of an official controller, this feels very well built. The lights are kind of unneeded, sort of a gimmick feature I might have found cool in highschool, but now it has no real application. If you are using this for PC, getting Windows to recognize it can be difficult for someone who hasn't done it before. You don't need to download any special files, first off. Here's what you need to do:Open Device Manager (search it from start menu)The controller should show up as Afterglow 360 ControllerRight click, Update DriverChoose 'Let me choose which driver to use'Choose the Microsoft Generic Controller option (right around those lines)Windows should now see it properlySimple as that.Other than the setup, it works flawlessly. Considering it doesn't advertise itself as a PC controller, I won't take points off for the complication.
