It’s working properly, it was very dirty. It had loads of chocolate inside of the buttons and on the controller itself. I had to deep clean this controller to get all of the nasty chocolate that was on it. I’m surprised it was still working with all of this chocolate inside of it!

Habe seit über einem Jahr diesen Controller, beim Auspacken sah in den Augen meines Sohnes schon das Staunen! Sieht schon echt klasse aus und macht ziemlich was her!Eingesetzt wird dieser Controller an der Nintendo Wii.Gekauft habe ich diesen Controller weil mein Sohn nicht immer mit der normalen Wii Remote Mario Kart spielen wollte, weil die Steuerung schon mit der Wii Remote komplizierter ist. Daher habe ich mich für diesen Kontroller entschieden.Nun haben wir gemeinsam einige Stunden schon gespielt und ich muss sagen, es war ein sehr guter Kauf. Die Bedienung für meinen mittlerweile 7 Jährigen Sohn stell kein Problem dar, alle Tasten sind gut zu erreichen.Klare Empfehlung von mir... ! TOP

This isn't a Wii U controller. It doesn't have a compatible connection to Wii U. It looks cool but actually advertising this as Wii U product is a total lie. Don't waste time let alone money waiting for this crap product.

Wir haben diesen Controller für unsere Kids zum Mario Land und Mario Kart spielen gekauft. Er ist seit Weihnachten jeden Tag im Einsatz und ist echt klasse. Auch für uns Erwachsene liegt er gut in der Hand. Für den Preis auf jeden Fall klare Kaufempfehlung, statt mit dem normalen Controller wird hier nur noch mit dem gespielt !

Excelente control, el color se ve padrísimo al igual que el acabado. Si bien no es de la misma calidad que uno de game cube, cubre perfecto su función, y por el precio no se puede pedir mas! entrega en tiempo, incluso mucho antes. Me encantaría coleccionar todos, ojala igualen el precio que obtuve de la princesa, Luigi y bowser que son los que me faltan.

I got this controller to use with SMM and MK8 as an alternative to using the gamepad (I also purchased the HORI Battle Pad Pikachu verson controller as well at the same time, more about that in a moment). I have to say, this is a very solid controller and feels very durable, and it looks very cool. I got it to match with the Yoshi Wiimote, and the colors match perfectly. The Gamecube controller is my favorite style Nintendo controller and it's very close in design. I love everything about it except one thing: the L2 and R2 shoulder buttons are set in SO deeply that they are somewhat unresponsive. The L2 R2 buttons themselves are not recessed, rather they are huge and require you to depress them down so far that it actually affects the responsiveness. None of the other buttons have an issue with this. When playing Mario Kart 8, those buttons are important, and the way they are actually hinders my gameplay. Yes you can use L1 and R1, but they're up so much higher that it's uncomfortable to use them because of the L2 and R2 buttons.Fortunately the HORI controller is nothing like that and both sets of buttons are comfortable to access and don't require you to sink the buttons down into a cavernous recess. They click immediately.Any game that doesn't utlize L2 R2 would be fine, or a game where you're not under pressure to push those buttons at the precise moment, but unfortunately for me that's exactly what I got the controller for. Maybe I'm being picky, and I only gave one star off for it, but IMO you just should not have to depress a button THAT far before it connects inside.At any rate, as other people have mentioned, this controller has a wire that must be connected to the Wiimote in order to use it. If you do not have a Wiimote, there is nowhere else to connect it to your Wii or Wii U. The controller itself does not require batteries, but your Wiimote will use its batteries to transmit the signal.

Personally I love the controller over using the gamepad on the Wii U, so much more comfortable and makes playing Mario Kart 8 so much better. My only issue (and I really don't want to knock a star off my rating since it's kind of a personal problem) I tend to rest my fingers (middle fingers primarily) rubs on the back of the controller when not hitting the ZL/ZR buttons and it causes a small bit of pain while playing games (the controller seems small for some reason, or my hands are huge I was actually expecting it to be a bit larger but I don't really know how the size compares to the Gamecube controller as I kind of skipped that generation of the Nintendo consoles, sorry folks). Oh, I guess I can also say that just because it's better to use over a game pad- I apparently still can't win at (single player) Mario Kart 8... so I'm docking an imaginary star, those dang blue shells...That aside the controller definitely is well worth it compared to the standard Pro Controller. I was honestly worried that because I never got a Wii-mote with the Motion Plus features (I had a first gen Wii so I use that Wii-mote) it wouldn't work but thankfully it works fine (probably cause the actual motion controls aren't actually used; hey, it's my first actual controller for the Wii U cut me some slack).

It works the way it's supposed to, doesn't feel cheap. To be honest, for $20, I got it because it looks pretty awesome. I think the gamecube controllers are more professional but this is great as an extra controller for someone else who wants to play or as a collectable. I love yoshi. Looks cool. Feels cool. 5 stars.

In Smash 4, the analog shoulder buttons do not do anything unless they are fully depressed. Had they been digital buttons or activated upon depress, they would be rather interesting controllers.Also, you are unable to mod the controller to utilize your own control stick or C-Stick as this controller has a different socket. However, it looks practically identical to the Nunchuk's analog stick.

So, when I first saw these controllers, I thought they'd be ok. But to hold a GameCube controller and play my virtual console games just like I did on the Wii on my Wii U makes it even better! If you were using the Wii U pro controller for Smash Bros, this is a better replacement for it.

This remote is very similar to the traditional GameCube remote, but of course has notable differences, such as the C-stick being a full analog stick, the ahoulder buttons being different, and having two Z buttons. This does not changed the experience too much, only in that you have to get used to the controls if you are used to the GameCube remote. I would have to say this remote plays excellent, and you can't beat being able to use this with many, if not all, WiiU and Wii games. If you want a remote with game versatility and feels very similar to the good old GameCube remote, definitely think about this remote.
